Kollektiv Turmstraße

Kollektiv Turmstraße make some good music. I really like the slow progression leading into a nice melody which appears in most of their tracks.

They've made a bunch of awesome tracks. Gotta check up on their latest releases though, I've been slacking.

Seen them twice. The first time was awesome, the second was a lot less. The tracks they played were nice of course but it was the EXACT same set as the one that had been floating around the interwebs for a while at that time, which was a big disappointment.

yeah made a appreciation thread about these a couple of years ago, haven't been very impressed by anything lately though

I really enjoy a couple of their tracks, tristesse is timeless

First came across them during Lee Burridge's Balance compilation, with 'Tritesse;' without attempting to take anything away from them, everything I've heard from them has always come and gone as a subtly pleasant listening experience, without leaving much of an impression on me.

Hmm, I've had just the opposite feeling, especially when it concerns their not-so-recent work. Their tracks and remixes have some sort of very organic and lively quality to them, that really appeals to me and leaves a lasting impression. I mean, just listen to the mindblowing remix below

I actually prefer a lot of their older material released on net labels like no-response to their more recent stuff. Schlittenfahrt, Light Journey and this tune.
