MSZ - Infect 001 Radioshow Guestmix: Adam Solomon [October 2010] [Progressive house]

Greets. Its wonderful to present a brand new radio-show ran by myself. My goal is to infect others with progressive house and progressive music in general, you will catch diversity with all types of progressive being played; catch talented guests regularly, i will try to get many mistique artists featured.

In my radio-show opening set, I have tried to make it a special one. my goal was to create a nice flow of energy stemming with deep, groovy atmospheres leading to escalation of energy and vibe throughout the set.I like to play promotional and new tracks, but as you will see, im not afraid to reach for classics. Perhaps Language was left on too long but, i tried to make a good time quota for the show.

this month we have Adam solomon, no stranger to the DJ promotion booth. His sets show great talent with programming and mixing, it is obvious, and this set is no exception. I thank you very much for sharing a piece of your soul and mind with the radioshow; beautifully crafted in my opinion, maybe you can describe your set yourself, its much more meditative and deeper tham mine.I hope to have you back sometime in the new year Adam. btw, i realize the time conversion is incorrect.

Holy shit, MSZ. You definitely have the same taste in prog to me. Full, rich, dark sounds. That might be the best mix I've heard in a few months.

Definitely going to be checking out this radio show each month.

Adam's set is on now.

Didn't get to tune in, but no doubt these will be nice. Will keep an eye on these!

I seldom visit this section, but since I enjoy your music in general I'll trust your tastes and download this.

I think I've only ever posted 3 or 4 times, all on sets that really stood out for me. I can't give technical feedback because I'm not a DJ, but I will download and listen if the tracklist fulfills me.

I managed to catch the first 17 minutes today. I really liked what I heard, so I'll be putting it on my mp3 player tonight and catching the rest on my way to college tomorrow!

Progressive House tune? Hmm, I'm not sure about that one! Perhaps "Jiao's Arduous Quest" or "One By One, They Vanished"?

DOWNLOADING!

Posted by Adam420 on Oct-20-2010 23:37:

Thanks for the spot MSZ. I had fun putting the mix together but I must say that I'm personally not a big fan of the one-hour limit that's often imposed in such circumstances so obviously it was hard for me to express myself to the fullest of my ability. With that said, I do think that I managed to capture a decent variety of sounds in the time allotted to me and I certainly hope that those who take the time to listen will enjoy their experience.

I also must say that your mix was very, very nice. I don't recall specifics (I will need to download it) but when it aired I had tuned in for the last 45 minutes or so and remember being really blown away by some of the tracks.

Both mixes were great! Great things as usual from Adam! Very happy with your choice of guest mix, I have been jamming some of Adams mixes this past year and they are good stuff!

I have not really listen to the style tracks you mixed much, but I must say damn, that is some great prog! Nothing over the top, just smooth, bassy, prog goodness.

Cant wait for 002

Posted by xIced on Oct-22-2010 06:09:

wow great track selection MSZ!

Posted by MSZ on Oct-23-2010 09:08:

kind words much appreciated, hope to see you guys @ 002.

Posted by Sushipunk on Oct-23-2010 09:41:

Yeah, and Adam's set is fucking awesome too. Wicked tracks, smooth as hell. As I expect from Adam!

Man, you did a really good job for your first episode on a radio show, Mac. Nice one. I be needing me some prog!

MSZ, what's the track at 40 mins on your set?

That is WICKED. So wicked.

It is LoQuai - How Long Can I Wait (Basil O' Glue remix) (Mistique music).

First of all congrats on having your own show and a great start as well. Have still to listen to the guest mix, but your set was really solid MSZ. Only track I didn't particularly like was the Tropical Highlight Mix, but from that moment on the set was excellent.
By the way I don't want to spam my mixes in other people threads, but my Progressive 2 hours mix I did in August should really fit with your tastes, especially the middle part: Dj Mercury - August Progressive Mix.

Will check out Adam mix this week.

A lot of MSZ's set doesn't look familiar to me, and Adam's looks class as usual. Looking forward to getting home and downloading both!

dling and feedbacking when i get a chance to listen!

Posted by kadomony on Oct-28-2010 05:41:

really nice sets here! both are deep and dark but each has it's own kinda vibe. well done

Posted by Teezdalien on Oct-28-2010 06:23:

Most enjoyable sets from both you guys. Only complaint is the length as I also prefer long building sets, as I'm getting right into it and then it's over. Great stuff nonetheless. Gonna be digging up some of these tracks for sure.

Posted by Sushipunk on Oct-28-2010 08:05:

Agreed with the length thing, but given the format, there isn't much that can be done. (What she said?)

I'd love to hear a nice 2-3 hr mix by MSZ full of that lovely, nasty, dark prog

*hint hint*
