This is driving me mad, the link below is on the transformers films and I am certain theres an old trance tune that samples it.

Does anyone know what it is

Are you thinking of Scotty's house remix of "The Black Pearl"?

It's the only electronic song that samples anything close to that. Plus, Steve Jablonsky has a strikingly similar style as Klaus Badelt, the composer of The Black Pearl.

The song you're thinking of can't be any older than the Transformers movie because the music you posted was written specifically for the movie.

Coaxial, Thanks for your reply. Its not the tune you have listed, the one I'm thinking of is definitely trance.

EDIT.....the part i think has been sampled is from 1.05mins up until 1.53mins. Apologies, I should have made that clear in my opening post

Searched through all my tunes and have found the one I'm after. I was definitely mistaken before, and it does not smaple the transformers theme as such, but in parts has the same key changes etc and is definitely the tune i thought of when watching the film
