What was your best experience spinning in front of a live crowd?
The most memorable moment that I have ever had spinning in front of a crowd was actually one of my first times in front of a live crowd. My apartment complex was having a party. If any of you have ever been to Isla Vista (UCSB), then you know that open parties are something everyone looks forward to on the weekends.
Well, my roommates and I decided we should have a party, so we set everything up, bought the kegs, and started playing the music. I was spinning on my crappy Numark tables. But it was playing trance, so you had to love it. My beat matching was so poor that it makes me laugh thinking about it.
As the night went on, more and more people started to come. It was fucking packed. Since my apartment faces the ocean, it was off the hook seeing the lights mix in with the ocean fog. People were going nuts and having a great time. My good friend(tranceaddict name: wookieslut), hopped on and tore shit up. We were up on the balcony facing the crowd and i remember how they were just going nuts to the music. It puts a smile on my face thinking about how much fun it was.

i have this hard house record that has this insane hard crazy beat then drops out and then this synth line come in and build and build till you want to pop
anywho, i was playing that at a club here and the crowd just went nuts and they were cheering and the song just kept building and building, then when it finally peaked and the beat dropped, they just exploded... man, that was awesome...

Tiesto got laid in a DJ booth one time. He said he and the chick were both drunk, and that the hardest thing about the situation was that he had to put on a new record every 3-4 mins.
how the fuck did he manage to do that ?
