October 2010
Let's hope this works better as a sticky thread!
If you stumble across a TA DJ mix in October that you find particularly good, and worth sharing with others, then POST IT HERE so we can all bask in its awesomeness!
Please include a link to the mix, and a brief description of what it is, like a genre or something like that.
Please don't nominate your own mix, that's not really what this is for.
C'mon man, you listen to enough sets here to be able to at least nominate something. Honestly I'm getting tired of of finding stuff for others here. Do your homework people.

Actually, the first one I want to nominate is MSZ's radio show mix.
Very, very nice, dark, rich prog house.

I still haven't listened to Adam's set all the way through, but it's very good as well, from what I have heard of it.

this truly good set by system-j.
EDIT: oh, yea. description: ambient dubscapes and crackling atmosphere. heavy beats. warm goodness made cold by static desolation.

All righty then, now I've calmed down somewhat I'll nominate a couple. I posted this in that other thread for palm, but it deserves another mention. (Nudisco, deep house, dubstep, jazzy techno and stuff)

And I have to nominate another mix from pozz, it's damn near the best ambient/drone mix I've heard of everything here I've listened to.

Apologies for getting worked up earlier.
much much thanks for the mention Teezdalien.
there's another one i think people should hear. the second half is not up to par with the first, but the groove is relentless. techno usually plods along these days, keeping something steady going. this mix outpaces all of that. rams beats down your gullet.

this, and jacks set.
but this is just awesome and i'm not a type of guy who likes when people ususally do trance-classics mixes since (fuck it, when i normally play trance, i play all old stuff anyways so why make a fuss over it) most people pick the same fucking tunes. and yes dave does play 'gouryella' and 'love stimulation' but he also plays 'zuluu', 'velvet', 'deep blue dream' and 'lost without you' abd shedloads of other great tunes and puts them in proper perspective.
also, i recommend anyone to listen to the basement sessions mix that is in his signature. it's just bonkers.
Pozz's "Crimson Jihad" even though it's from September 27th. It's like your neurons have become dark matter and your consciousness is spread across the universe, simultaneously experiencing the vastness of all physical reality, communicated through the medium of ambient drones.
Also, Thunderbird's "More Often Than Not", which is a great example of mixing in terms of mood, not genre, with great music and technical skills across the board.
Not just mixes of the month, these two are leading contenders for my mix of the year.
Oops, I should make a November thread now
