Energie Berlin infos/news

Hello All,

for those of you who don`t know, Energie Berlin is Paul`s new label. It will be a sublabel of Vandit Records.

Upcoming releases:

ENERGIEBERLIN001: Tayfun "Der Traum" (to be released in the next 4 weeks)
ENERGIEBERLIN002: Malte & Marc De Clark "No More Rain" (not yet scheduled for a release)

It's the Berlin tv tower and some other Berlin momunents on top.

Energie is a Berlin label for Berlin based artists so not too weird imho. It's still a bit boring I agree.

At the end of Love from Above (love parade pre-party) where Paul had been playing for about 7 hours all night some guy was walking through the club waving the huge Berlin flag (the one with the bear on and the red strips) with the words "ENERGIE BERLIN" on the bottom. That was the first anyone had heard of it I think. He probably used that night as a promotion for it, since he was doing a long set in his hometown at the Love Parade - seems an ideal time.

I think it's a pretty cool name, but why does he have the TV Tower when he came from West Berlin? I'd have thought the Siegessaule would be better, cos that's also become like a symbol for the Love Parade.

alex, they had huge flags on the vandit truck....there are loads of pics online with the flags on the truck, i saw it at the lp too

you can see the flag in jp's pics as well, which was from an interview done on sat at the siegessaule

Isn't he from East Berlin and isn't the Fernsehturm in Alexanderplatz in former East Berlin?

PVD is from East-Berlin

The Euro already has the Brandenburg Gate on one of it's sides, so I think he choose the right symbol, although he is not original:

Electric Kingdom used the TV Tower of one of it's flyers...
