actually its quite comfortable in the country side, but not in the cities. Space is conserved so much they have "hotels" generically named "Tube" hotels. People get to sleep in tubes with a tv, radio, and alarm clock, and the bathrooms, kitchens, and open areas are in the lobby and hallways. Most normal apartments are one room/kitchen with a bathroom, and a public bath (usually they have one). Everyone drys their clothes on the roof. They survive by importing a LOT of resources from other countries, in exchange for their electronic products and other technology. But yea thats how the water parks look like if its hot. The bad thing about Japan is if its hot, its gonna be humid. So if you sweat, its gonna stay on your face. But besides that, its a nice place to live.
