Dash Berlin...

So i've heard a couple of times that Dash Berlin never really plays in the US. Is this true? Cause this is the only reason why my friends are wanting to go to Winter Fresh. Thanks.

Saw the flyer after Heaven & Hell in San Diego, winter fresh will have Andy Moor, Michael Woods, and Dash Berlin.

I think it's scheduled on early December 2010.

For the longest time Dash Berlin had not played in the USA but in the past, as his popularity has grown, he is now being booked more often!

The first time I saw him was in Los Angeles with Daniel Kandi in July 2009! His mixing skils have definitely improved, and I do recommend checking him out. Be prepare for lots of vocal commercial tracks.

I admit I like "Never Cry Again". It's cheesy as hell, but sometimes it's nice to have some cheese.

And their 4am remixes are SO good... not too bad with the rainbows and unicorns....

I agree that his set will probably be different at a club, because he can play longer than 90 minutes.

We went Fresh Squeezed a couple of years ago to see Daniel Kandi's first US gig. Dash Berlin played before Daniel and was VERY fluffy. And this coming from two people who like vocal trance (Michelle and I). Maybe it just seemed extra fluffy because he followed a hard core techno DJ (if you can imagine that).

Yes, I was there too and his slot was short 90 minutes, and he had to follow Ricky Stone, which was a bit hard..

Also, his mixing skills was not that great, but I been following him and have noticed a very good improvement on his live sets..

So looking forward to seeing him again.

yeah im not a big fan... too much female vocal cheese. surprised he went up so high on djmag. i guess (if we choose to take the poll seriously) there are a lot of talented trance producers out there, like Kandi, who either don't mesh well with promoters or something. because if I was in charge, Kandi would be main room epic uplifting trance instead of dash berlin.

He strikes me as one of those guys that's mainly a producer, and he makes some great stuff, but it's best when it's spread out every now and then. 2 hours straight of his songs would get really, really old.

Like Andy Blueman. I LOVE his productions, but they should be used sparingly.
