He probably listened to the new David Guetta song and tried to off himself cause he couldn't handle any more shit
its fucked up but the question is, how do we fix the negativity around these scenarios?
everyone said make it 18+ events but it still seems like the media will find a way to tie it with EDM events.
"a man robbed a liquor store and he just happened to attend Nocturnal Wonderland 6 years ago. Can you see the link?"

why can't people just take responsibility for their own actions? ugh, we have choices, we make them, no one forces us to do anything. if the decision turns out poorly, it is no one else's fault but the decision maker's. i see this day in and day out at my school, parents constantly making excuses for their child's poor behavior why they aren't doing their work, etc. if you aren't held accountable for your own actions you will never learn from your mistakes and keep making them over and over and expect to be gotten out of the consequences. how does that make a person a functioning, successful member of society?
i'm sorry he fell and is hurt but i've partied all week in miami/detriot/SF/ibiza and have never "stepped" out a window. and yes i know there are special circumstances but i guess i'm just frustrated as you all are with the media sensationalizing this and trying to blame the rave scene
I once tripped on a step after going to Knotts berry farm. According to this article the park is to blame and we should shut down amusement parks.
this is really ridiculous. I think its safe to say we have all been in an 'altered state of mind' at some point and have not fallen out a window. Once again, more idiots ruining it for the rest of us.
what about people who commit crimes after going to sports events? does this mean that sports leads to violence?
Don't know why you guys are always talking about this topic on a forum where 99% of the people believe you and agree with you.
Maybe you guys should make your analogies and arguments on forums where only 1% of the people believe you and agree with you?
Seems like every week a thread pops up about how the general public hates our scene, and you guys try to prove to the other people on this forum that they are wrong. Most of us, if not all of us, agree with you.
I heard he was listening to rap and hip-hop music. Kanye West is to blame and I think you know why.

Eh...all I'm trying to say is it's kinda dumb whenever a thread gets made like this to try and point out how dumb it is that the general public blames our scene for these kinds of deaths. I don't think I've seen anyone on this forum or any EDM forum for that matter say that the scene is to blame. So those people should take their points and arguments somewhere, where they can actually change people's opinions instead of just getting a bunch of people who already agree all fired up.
The media has always been against the rave scene since the beginning.
they need to get off its nuts.
its a bunch of ignorant reporters that don't know the scene and interpret what they see to their own favor, bad news is good news for them because they have more to talk about, and its what people that arent in the scene like to hear.

Did I say it wasn't legitimate?
I just think you guys would be better served taking your analogies/arguments to a different forum or whatever. Everyone here already knows this stuff and agrees with you. You guys should expend your energy trying to convince the others out there who feel like our scene is responsible.

I agree, down with House electro.. with their.. wank wank dow dow um um, de de beats.
How about some energy in those beats for a change? And I'm not talking about that unicorn crap either. Only kinda house that is livable is the tech house A&B plays on their podcasts, and that borders trance/progressive.
