Arrow [UPLIFTING TRANCE] Helion Tide - Wind Walking (Official Music Video)

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce myself

My name is Bryan, I produce uplifting, driving trance under the name "Helion Tide". I am 22 years old, and I live just outside of Toronto in Canada.

I've been producing for almost 3 years now, and I'm very pleased to announce that the music video for my new track entitled "Wind Walking" was officially released yesterday! I'm absolutely stoked about it, as not only has the video turned out absolutely beautiful thanks to the fellows at Lexion Productions (www.lexionproductions.com) and to the wonderful cast and crew that were involved, but the response from the community has been overhwelmingly positive as well!

If you have a few moments, please take a look at the official music video on YouTube, and let us all know what you think! And if you leave some feedback, be sure to let me know what you think of the tune as well

And also, be sure to check out my myspace if you get a chance, below in my signature!

Happy producing,
Helion Tide

I like your track, it sounds very polished. The bass pounds. The vid, mmm honestly speaking doesn't nreally engage me nor for me make any connection with the music mate.

To be quite honest, that was one of the most cringeworthy visual experiences I've ever digested, and what I'd most likely consider the epitome of cheesy video production. Paying attention to both song and video, I failed to find any connection between the two.

Thanks for the feedback on the video and for taking a listen

All criticism, constructive or otherwise is appreciated.

Best,
Bryan

all trance videos are cringe worthy. Too bad he doen't kidnap her in like that movie with LiamNiessam called Taken where she gets sold to some Sheik.

Can't disagree with that old fruit.

I'd also say the track was pretty mediocre and sounds like it's been through the awesome filter a bit too much.

Doing 'the crucifix' wearing headphones doesn't make you credible either.

I don't even know where to begin. It all started off nicely enough and even had some good ideas peaking through, like with the introduction of the melodic hook, but then, like the bone and flesh of an errant appendage caught in the workings of an unstoppable industrial mixer working in slow motion, distinguishable elements just started becoming a tortured, distorted blur, reminiscent of a familiar, cloying grind.

And the video: cringe inducing, indeed.

it's not everyone's taste, but the sounds are well choosen and everything is clear und not overcompressed.

Worm Popper

LOL. Love some of the feedback on here. Some people sure go out of their way, quite elaborately might I add, to voice their opinions. The criticism, if I would be so bold to refer to it as such, is appreciated nonetheless. Can't please everyone!

Happy producing.

Well, you're gracious enough about it.

Speaking for myself, I thought it had a lot of high-end gloss that I strive for and fall short of, consistently, so if you found my criticism unfair, blame it on my incompetence. Still, it's that gloss that, in conjunction with what happened to the music once the song got going, sealed the fate on my critique. The beginning, to me, demonstrated a lot of potential but then fell quite a bit short of that, once the song got going.

Maybe I was looking for something unobtainable at the level you're playing at. Be it a corner you worked yourself into that would have collapsed no matter what you did to get out of it or simply something still unimaginable; while being beyond so much of what is on current offer from Armada. Whatever ethos pervaded your production process, this song, like a multitude of others I've been hearing for the past seven years, seems to borrow heavily from the sensibilities of the songs which opened up this genre while being recidivistic in terms of being less about creativity and more about marketability.

Nice post!

I think people are going a little OTT with critisism and to a certain extent being a tad bit unfair to the guy

Ok as most mentioned the song does start off quite well, and it did remind me off commercialised trance from 9-10 years ago.. But to me thats no bad thing, they still sell ... I think the song lost its way slightly int he main chorus, but it was still listenable throughout.

On terms of the video, ive got to say good job, who else these days, after producing music for only 3 years, will finish a track and get a video shot for it too, without even knowing if its going to be signed up or not.. I say fair play to you mate, and all the best with this track and future projects

lol, you guys should cut him some slack. sounds mixed pretty well(bass sounds pretty nice), and about the video its really professionally done even though cliche and cheesey whatever(that chick is hot!). i like cheese sometimes ^^

a track ive been listening to lately, might make a bootleg.
