Whether people agree that the Kanye West incident is the worst or not during Bush's administration (I believe other wise), I will give Bush credit for at least being mature in his rebuttal to Kanye's remarks. Mind you it's 5 years later, but at least its an attempt.
I guess there is no statue of limitations on a rebuttal.

people just lost their homes and loved ones during katrina and alot of people came out to do what they can to help and kanye had to turn it into a race thing...guy is a complete jerkoff

Kanye is a douche and needs to be stripped of all his earnings asap. Also, being different and abstract doesn't make you artsy.

Fuck what Kanye does or doesn't do/stand for/believe in - this is just another (most likely unconscious) effort on Bush's part to deflect attention away from himself.
Any politician with even a modicum of humility would have pointed to some gaffe or poor decision of their own as a possible low during their career - "well, what I truly regret doing/not doing was..."
Not good old Dubya, though - "I did everything just perfect, it was the other guy whut done something else to me that's bad. Like, rly, rly bad."
A hundred years from now, people will be wondering how a chimpanzee managed to hold the U.S. presidency for two fucking terms.
