So which ear do you cue with?
i'm not after anything, just wondering what ear my fellow ta's are using.
I use left to cue with
i have to use both nowadays.
I've always used both.
ive always used both
Both. My cue pan's always in the center.
this is interesting, i usually use left, but depends if you've monitors in the booth, sometimes you've them behind you, 2 on each side, only 1... i use only 1 ear because it gives me a more realistic approach, but do a check with both cups in.
what ever side people were trying to talk to me.
The side the headphone happens to be on while im cuing
Who
the
fuck
cares?
Useful tidbit - if you wank with your non-dominant hand, it's like it's someone else doing it!

Left since I can remember, no idea why.
Because you're right handed.
Both.
I change mine around. I've noticed in the past that one ear was suffering slightly worse from me naturally preferring to cue on my left ear so i try and use the right ear every now and again.
If the booth has nice monitors etc i'll often use one ear (left or right) but if the monitors are shite i'll throw on both to get a tighter feel.
I mix in the headphones (both), but once I've got everything lined up and ready, I take the right cup off and listen to the house or monitors as I'm doing the actual transition.
I use both to beat match, and if it's not too loud, i would use one... Not sure which though. Good question!

ever since my sonys died, ive been using a single cup in my left ear against my shoulder, like a cell phone.
...and you're right handed.
Both. I've run into booths that don't have the big cue monitors). So I trained my ears to mix through headphones.
