Hans Zimmer: Time (Inception Theme) [Orkidea mixes]

Here are two bootleg remixes I did of Hans Zimmer's amazing theme music from the Inception film. There is one deeper and more atmospheric prog trance mix and one more uplifting 135bpm full on trancer. Support for these has come so far from Armin van Buuren (played in ASOT), Andy Moor (played in his Moor Music podcast), Solarstone, Alex Morph, Ronski Speed, Mark Eteson, tyDi, First State, Orion etc. There are already nearly 30 000 views for these in YouTube and I've been getting lots of requests to make the mixes available so here they are downloadable in full quality. I know that no remix/remake can reach the majestic brilliance of the original, but I hope you enjoy these!

Finally a trance track worth listening too, great stuff! Awake mix is definitely my favorite, LOVE this tune!

I suggest you people check out Zack Hemsey. He produced the music to the Inception trailer, a track called Mind Heist. He has also, among other stuff, composed the soundtrack to the trailer of "The Town". I think it's called Redemption. Awesome stuff. This guy has some serious talent.

Totally agree! I can't get enough of the Dream Mix and it's been on repeat all night..

Both tracks had potential but in the end left me a bit cold. I still much prefer the older Orkidea style than this new one.

There is actually a nice little story with some interesting details on how these mixes came together. Things around sampling, production, plug-ins, computers, monitoring etc. Nothing spectacular though, but I'll make a blog post about it during the coming days and post it here too.

I'm a big fan of the inception soundtrack so this was a pleasant surprise.
Both remixes sounds quite good but I still feel like there's something missing to be honest, they're good nonetheless. I prefer the dream mix.

Oh yes! The track he did for the inception trailer is wonderful. I'll definitely check out more by that guy.

Even though i love the awake mix it has that modern sound or feel to it which i hate. The track should have been more old school like the Killa remix with a much deeper bassline
