I don't think anyone knows what's going on yet, including the DJs. DJs already are booked for the week before Ultra which is still at the end of March. No idea why WMC would do this.

WMC/Ultra screwed up big time this year it seems. They have been doing this for how many years and now they become disorganized?! Something happened and I can't wait to hear their side of the story.

itsa power struggle ovr $$$ & attn btwn the WMC organization vs DJs/Clubs/Parties
paying for a badge and attending those seminars are sort of a joke for some ppl
for others its just a reason to party hard in MIA
should be an interesting outcome

i have a feeling your right, wmc wants to go back to its root's and have a week where its geared more towards promotion,networking etc etc and less big parties...i just hope during the week of ultra the clubs and pools will be open for parties

From what I hear everyone is boycotting WMC. Everyone already made plans and booked shit. I have a feeling there will be a strong promotion for the week before Ultra by all the clubs, promoters and Djs. People will forget all about the WMC week, I wouldnt be surprised if wmc ends up changing back.

i dont really think people will boycott it, alot of dj's will still show up to network and promote etc...i just dont think they will throw as many big parties and such

as of now iam sticking with my original dates march 22-27
if parties happen they happen if not i will just make a vacaction of it while iam down there

well, ultra did 100k last year and they are doing it 3 days this year... they got their asses high up so i doubt they care about wmc at this point.

I dunno dude, I think the real "WMC" is gonna be pretty lame. Gonna be full of wannabes nerds looking meet the right people. Plus, the Winter Party is that same week, it's gonna be a gay dude fest. Epic fail

yeah, last year was awesome. I'm sure this year will be awesome as well. They just need to call it something different to stop the confusion. Everything is happening the week before Ultra. Beatport just confirmed their party is the week before Ultra as well. Once the lineups start getting announced I think it'll be clear what week the real "WMC" is.

srsly. Ultra was cool for my first time, but there are soooo many other parties going on you could stay at and get a full set progression/vibe from.

WAY too much stuff to do/see at Ultra
