Opinions about IDM

Hi guys today I have been browsing IDM forum, the studio subforum, does anyone has any experience there.. is it worth registering?

I post it here because I am interested in the production insights.

I don't frequent that forum a whole lot, but it seems to me that its biggest draw is its VERY active songs/production feedback forum. IME the rest of the forum usually seems to be pretty quiet.

They can be good. The problem over there since they revamped it is that there are too many forums and not enough posts. So it tends to seem a bit empty. There are lots of forums that only get a post once a week, which isn't really enough to make them worth visiting IMO.

On the other hand, they have a lot of discssion about MAX/MSP, Reaktor, etc. As well as quite a lot of esoteric production ideas, which is really cool, so thats a definite benefit which you NEVER get around here.

I enjoy trolling the trancefags more on the whole.
