Production Studio: Chillout Sessions
Thought I'd start (with mod's blessing) a production-related thread but with a twist: entertaining/amusing/funny stuff that only we, DAW Cowboys and Synth Geeks would appreciate...
Let's start with this video, demonstrating how loop-based productions can sometimes get one in trouble:

I'd post Jim Pavlov's tutorials but I think everyone in this part of the forum has seen them by now.
...but here's an easier approach if you don't have the high-end equipment/software:

A number of you on here are way too far self important. Get over yourselves - I bet you'd shit yourself if you got in a sparring ring - yet here your'e little keyboard warriors. Why the permagrouchyness?
I like these other types of threads - it's not as if we're fuckin groaning under the strain of traffic here.

I think it would be cool if this forum had a kind of a Questions & Answers thread. You could just come and ask something that really didn't deserve a thread be made.
I.e. "Hey, is this chord really a c major?
Sample"
or
"Is someone willing to recreate this sound for me?
Sample"
I KNOW there is a Tutorial Master List, so I don't know for it's functionality in here, though I've seen it work on other forums..
