Prodigy

I was listening to Itunes on my laptop when a tune from the old Jilted album came on. It made me get the album out a listen it from the beginning..
How class were they back in the day like. Their older stuff is a lot better

i think this applys to 90% of producers if not more, but they've a raising period alternating hits with decent tracks, then all is a hit and afterwards is unavoidable that they go downhill.

When you start producing/Djing you usually love what you do, then with some luck you become sucessful and can live because of your music, this is when people tend to do as much as they can to earn more money and all his principles are thrown to the bin.

Most of the time, yeah, but on some rare instances the financial stability actually liberates the artist to do exactly what they wanted to do in the first place. They no longer have the need to make money so they can do pretty much whatever they please.

Sadly this didn't seem to happen to Liam seeing the last two albums have been absolute dogshit.

I have a feeling this is "clever" spam.

I have this video from 1994 called electric punks. It is about this living life and that. Awesome like. It also has some rare footage of Keith with long hair..

I might have to dig it out at some point..

lol its not rare at all if you have been around more than 10 years. Keith had that hear for like the 6 first years of prodigy, and didnt get the emo look before fat of the land in 97 or something. welcome to music history. jilted generation is part of the all time top 100 album list of all genres. they are also considered one of the top live bands. experience was cool when it came out but was dated pretty fast, as most of prodigys stuff, but jilted as exception, it sounds just as fresh today. unfortunately these boys are over 40 years old now and cant keep it up anymore. liam should split up the band and start doing something completely different, like videogame-soundtracks or something. theres alot of un-used potensial there but hes limited by the boundaries of the prodigy-brand.

Prodigy is great.
What I really like, the new album sounds like the old rave style. Whether they can't make it sound newer or they intended to keep the old style, it is great that it is like this.

I liked most of their releases since old releases such as Fire or today Omen or Warrior's Dance.

Cheers,
John
