New Years Eve- What are you doing, what are you wearing

Just kidding on the wearing part.

San Diego is usually my location of choice, got a lot on the table this year.
Del Mar fairgrounds:Ferry Corsten, Afrojack + more
Hard Rock: Robbie Rivera + more
4th and B: Dirty South(only after hours party in SD)

Looks like some of my LA friends are heading down here as they arent fans of avalon or the tao/palladium lineups. And they dont want to deal with the mayhem that they world class talent at the vanguard is surely to cause!

Omar, you'd be proud! We got R/T tix on SWA yesterday for $108 total from SFO - SAN (late thurs afternoon to sat late afternoon). Thhis way, I'll be able to catch laidback luke @ Ruby on Day 1.

Definitely going to catch dirty south at 4th and b late, but prior to that am not sure.

Options:
Designer Drugs is at Voyeur
They're only sellig $110 (w/fee) tickets that include well drinks until midnight. I like DD and Voyeur b/c of the proximity to 4th and B

Robbie Rivera and Chris Garcia are at Hard Rock:
is like 50/60 for an ok lineup. My concern would be getting from all the southern part of the gaslamp to 4th and b (while still recovering from acl surgery). it may be tough to snag a cab and all the normal bars will be letting out, but still a decent option.

4th and B: Dirty South After Hours
Dirty South is slated to be playing in OC...not sure what the timing will be here. Hopefully he arrives no later than 2/2:30 since this goes until 4 am. Up until then, there is no mention of who is playing before him.

Plan B: Audible and meet up with SD friends to see Digweed in LA

Omar, keep me posted on what you do.

I like this Lance! The walk from Hard rock to 4th and B i dont like doing on two good legs! i think your best bet is the voyeur event, then at 130 when music is turned off head to 4th and B.
tickets are $25 right now and I'd expect DS is playing 2-4. he could do NP 11-1am and then private jet to SD. where are you guys staying? we are at Sofia fri-sun, and i have a hold for thursday night at the solamar in case we head down a day early. definitely should meet up friday for lunch or something. there is this GREAT brazilian steakhouse, all you can eat $16.50. The filet mignon wrapped in bacon is to die for!

SD: How is that Fairgrounds in SD? Outdoor and cold? Massive rave style venue?

SF: Whats going on NYE other than Markus? LBL Day 1 sounds great! (I've never partied in SF, have only been there twice for a couple hours during the day)

Vegas: Morillo @ Marquee NYE...Tiesto on Day 1 (unless I see another house DJ somewhere)

not going to any of the parties and having one at my house. I am actually glad to be home for once. the way my house sits, the cops wont be able to hear anything from the street.

Lance...just saw voyeur has $130 tickets that allow you into Designer drugs, dirty south, and then a voyeur event at 6am.

according to this 4th and b goes until 6am...

$143 after all charges.

I would be great with that, but as the 4th and B tickets online say until 4am, not 6am. Also, on the Voyeur wantickets page, it says Voyeur will be open and at 6am. I've never seen 4th and b stay open past 4, but would be stoked if it did.

Bacon Wrapped Steak sounds great!

I would have totally looked for Vegas flights if I thought I could get into Morillo for a reasonable price, but think that it being a brand new club on nye with Morillo, it just would be too expensive.

Digweed is appealing for LA, I but was hoping to change it up this year.

SF is (as usual) underwhelming for NYE, though if you love Trance, seeing Markus is a no brainer. Donald is also playing a show open late (6am); and while he's a fun party DJ, I was hoping to see someone or go somewhere a little bit special this year.

No matter which show I check out, I should be back in SF for Laidback Luke on Saturday.

I am so not sure since ill be closing on a new home this week so ATM new years is still unplanned. I will probably just have a quiet evening with the GF this year and enjoy it.

We are trying to book a huge cabin in Lake Tahoe with a big group...lets see how that ends up working out....

Definitely heading to San Diego for NYE. Dirty South and probably the Designer Drugs party earlier.

Well they should be looking forward to it as much as they are paying them...

The promoters for the Dirty South show at 4th and b updated the ticket options.

4th and b has a new ticket available. VIP, including hosted bar from 9-12am for $55 + like $7 in ticket fees. Also, Dirty South is apparently helicoptering in and going on from 12:30-4, so a longer set time than I expected.

I think we're going to save a few bucks and just go to 4th and b and skip out on Designer Drugs at Voyeur for $110 each.
