No dude, you're WAY off base - they weren't Indians. We call them "indigenous peoples" or "Native Americans" out of respect for the fact that they are not from India, as the first European discovers mistakenly took them for, before we disrespected them by slaughtering them and taking their land. But if you ask any native american, and consult a dictionary, the terms "american indian" and "native american" mean the SAME exact thing. So who's "WAY" off base now?

He was explaining the fact the label "Native Indian" is an erroneous term because the first people arriving in this land assumed the natives were indian (i.e from India) because they had darker skin and different features.

First, Cryo never said "native indian" you did. He said "we call them indigenous people or native americans out of respect", which we DO NOT.
But apparently he has very sparse cultural knowledge as what he said was both obnoxious and conceited.
