| Originally posted by Kenny Rogers sorry i didnt manage to listen before now. i like alot of the tracks and the mixing is solid eventhough its abit too trancy for me. track starting at 25 min is really cool. |
Ok, a few pointers. To me this is House; no Trance in it at all. It actually dips partly into chill/lounge type of music. But that's no problem, quite nice for a change.
The first transition sounded awfull. You stretched the harmonic clash way too much. If two tracks don't fit harmonically you have to be a bit more creative in mixing, not to overlap their melodies. Another major thing is, that you need to take care of your volume levels. I can tell already by the waveform, that the tracks from minute 30 to 45 are too silent, compared to the rest.

| Originally posted by Kenny Rogers definitely not hehe, the era of the dj is over. im gonna focus on production (after degree) and maybe, just maybe a little liveact, but probably not. i have one goal now and that is to make that album i talked about years ago. |

I'll check ito ut
So, what exactly was/is the purpose of this set if you didn't care about harmonics and didn't touch the gain? Basicly you just beatmatched same sounding tracks...

I really like your attitude.
In my first post I just suggested you trying to mix non-harmonic transitions in such a way, that even people who expect a harmonic one don't really notice it. Transporting a mood that way is a real challenge. Anyway, cheers!
