Fuck yeah. Taking this one to work with me. The other one is the Essential Mix from 2000, which I've already got. Good mix, but drags on in places.

That Cream Reunion event you're playing at looks pretty hot too. I'd consider coming across for it, except Union Jack and Art Of Trance are playing in Manchester on the same night. Your profile says you're from Leeds, do you ever play here?

Yeh shame there's a clash that night, I'm sure you would love the Cream Reunion.
I've lived in Leeds last 8 years or so, have had residencies at Mint Club for a Prog night called Quality Connects and Mission playing big room House stuff but not been playing much the last few years.

Not much of a trainspot, but 14 is actually Horse - Careful (Sasha's Horse With No Name Mix).

It's a good mix in the first half, but falls off badly towards the end. Some of the mixing is pretty bunk as well. The highlight for me was the section in and out of Netherworld. Total bomb track.

listened to the 2000 em last night while on the push bike - great fun - some crackers in there - war of the worlds remix at the end is tres epic.

Oh man that tracklist is terribly messed up. Pretty sure It went right from Rain-A-Pella to Healing Dream (which interestingly enough was the full length original mix only found on the CD release, not the vinyl). There was several songs in between Andy Ling's Dub and Sasha' remix of Careful, one of which was Arkana - The Future's Overrated (Evolution Remix).

Some pretty bad mixing, but sound pretty good songs. Definitely enjoyable. Jules Verne remix is amazing. Some other tracks in there I'd like to get an ID on, but meh.

Listened to both over the last few nights - gotta say i prefer the 2000 em. takes me back to the original time i got into 'proper' dance music. the 97 is okay with some absolute classics but yeah the EM for me. very very nice

They're both up on Soundcloud. Still listen to the 2000 EM regularly. It's a bit slow to get started but from about 50 minutes onwards it's just bomb after bomb.

Haven't listened to the Boxed mix for ages, but I remember the transition into Netherworld being absolutely mega.
