i will misss kazza, cos i downlaod video's off it, or are they just gona stop the mp3 downloading stuff, or is that not possible>???

They can shut down kazaa or any others if they want. It's not going to really matter, they'll just be stopping all the noobs anyways. The people who do most of the ripping, moving, etc. will do it through ftp's or by other means w/o messing with kazaa or other such programs.

nicke's right. it's kazaa and it sucks. RIAA can shut down anything they want - what' makes DC so different from other file sharing services? you share "illegal" mp3s - that's the only thing they care about.

That's basically the idea. Even if the RIAA shuts down Direct Connect, the software they provided will still work the same way it did before. The only thing they could do to stop that would be to go after individual hubs.

I think only the commercial shits(I mean the 'artist') don't like file sharing 'cause they have money from their CDs! but the DJs in our world have money from the parties mainly,so the file sharing is a good advertisment for them>>if you hear a good tune,then u will go that dj's party.am I right?
