R.I.P Jenna Rae from Toronto TA.....

It is with great sadness that I say to you that one of our long time friends/TA from Toronto has passed earlier today: Jenna Rae passed away from Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer @ stage 3B) around 3pm.


Stilez (from TOTA) and I have spoken, and to keep her memory alive, we think it would be a great idea to continue to contribute to her fund, as an awareness, as well as a fight for a cure in her memory. Please note the blogs and the donations put together by friends and family, and help contribute to keep her memory alive by helping others.


Please imagine if this was one of our friends in New York TA, I am certain we would all come together <3 <3 She was a friend to many TOTA's and the sadness of her passing is heavy.


No one deserves to pass at such a young age. Many condolences to her friends and family, she was a sweet and beautiful young girl, and I am glad to have met her in her short, young life. She is now at peace with the angels <3 <3 <3 <3

Jenna & Mike are both long time members of TA & many of us have had the pleasure to both party with them & just hang out with them & know what truly amazing people they both are. Jenna really needs our help here. Please help out a fellow TA who desperately needs it at this time. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I only had the chance to meet Jenna a handful of times, but I am so thankful for the times I did get to spend with her. I can't remember her without a smile on her face. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and was probably one of the most welcoming and warm people I have ever met. She will be missed, but never forgotten. <3

Jenna was one of the sweetest women you would ever meet in your lifetime. She was always sincere and touched many people's lives. She was always smiling and had such a vibe about her. It is really sad that today we have lost someone so amazing and way too young.

My condolences to Jenna's family as well as Mike and his family.

yeah, many of you wont, but we thought we would keep her memory alive by spreading the word of her familys donation site for Hodgkin's....I figured I would help them out, especially since I have met the girl, and she was just a fabulous person <3 <3 <3 I know if one of our close friends had passed at such a young age, we would do the same

Jenna was incredibly cool. She had such a pleasant feel to her. Always happy to see you. She had a very inviting smile. Thanks guys for making a thread here. We've lost a few ta's over the last couple of years. its nice when this site comes together like a community.

very sad- my condolences to her family and friends.

We met by chance, cause Mike and her mistook me for their mutual friend.. and then thought I was the bouncer at the club.. and then found out we had a lot of mutual friends and were both TAs... so every time we saw each other it always brought a smile to my face. She was always happy and looking out for others. God decided he needed her services now.. and unfortunately she's no longer with us. RIP massive dino hugs to her in heaven.

I'm busted over learning this news... this is rubbish, i cant believe it... I really cant

I met Mike and Jenna years ago (4? 5? 6?) at a trance addict event and was immediately struck but what an incredible, brilliant person she was. Extremely positive and just beautiful on the inside. Such a lovely person.

That shes gone, I can't believe it, I really can't....

I am so thankful to have known you, Jenna... I cant believe your star is no longer shinning in this world... that doesnt seem right, how can that be. This void shouldnt be.

My heart goes out to Mike and Jenna's family. I can't even imagine...

I dont know what else to say... im shell shocked upon learning this news tonight....

This is tragic...

RIP Jenna habibi... you remain in my thoughts.

Such a shame - I saw her donation thread in the COR and really hoped she would pull through. I have no idea who she was but so many of my friends knew her and I feel their pain. I know how it feels to lose someone so dear and close to you.

we try our best. good looking out on letting us know about such a tragedy. It is very very saddening even though i never even knew of her. after reading all of the post on TOTA i might as well have known of her and wished I would have had the pleasure to shake her hand once.

So sad to hear such horrible news. But I do have to note how wonderful it is to see how someone special has touched so many lives. Threads like this are little glimpses into the meaning of life- to touch and effect every human you encounter.

Ugh I cant even read the TOTA thread anymore. I feel so much for her family and friends. That thread brings me to tears, the way she touched so many people. I guess god wanted one of his angels.....

Thanks Sam. All of you are amazing and sometimes it takes a tragedy to see how awesome you NYTA's are <3 <3 <3
