Hmm where to start...Tiesto was pretty good. his set was a lil predictable but without a doubt still good. I was psyched he signed my urban train vinyl woooo. Digweed was allright, his mixing was pretty damn good, but some of his tracks were really repetive and boring but some just had the sickest buildups..Digweed played this really good remix of Underworld - 2 Months Off. I went crazy for that, that was the only track i identified in his set. by the way it was lame that they closed the tent early..carl never got to go on but whatever. i met a very beautiful girl named shannon (aya brea) there who got her shoe signed by tiesto

, tiesto was soooooooo boring played every freaking track for tooo long, but end of set was good and i am liking his techno side, Gatex(tiesto rmx) was pretty good(only request of mines he played)...got my shirt signed and got IMM,flight 643, lethal industry and DMB vs. Tiesto singed
Like amit said Digweed is Fucking Awesome, would love this guy if he interacted with the crowd by smiling and looking up more often!!,got the man to sign my shirt before he started spining

Saw brian again with the flag but couldnt find your ass after tiesto
overall a good NYTA turnout

I don't think Tiesto played Solarcoaster, I would have remembered it. I'm a Tiesto fan so of course I'm going say he was good.
As for Diggers, I found his set boring at first but he totally kicked it into high gear after a while. Really bangin the choons out in the middle to the end. Also since I'm a TA newbie it was great to put faces on those icons I see here.
Nice meeting Matt, Arnold, Caryn, and Laura. John and Tom I've met before so you guys not on the list.

yea he didn't play solarcoaster woops...for some reason at the time i thought he did.
I wanted some Cox too... oh well... Tiesto and Digweed were good enough... I was starting to hate Tiesto for his lack of mixing skills but he did alright today and he's such a smiley guy... always interacting with the crowd.. gotta love him for that...
Digweed on the other hand was rock solid... that guy has no emotions but he spun a great set.. good flow to it and all.. it's too bad they pulled the plug on him and ultimately Mr. COX... 
It was nice meeting/hanging out with everybody... caryn & laura,john, tom, rick, matt... we NYTA's rule... I'm definately looking forward to joining some of you for Gielen... (keep me updated, matt 
)
Anyway, i'm pretty tired.. my friends made me sit through moby... so i'll stop here...i'll see you all at Sasha... 
I had a good Time. Tiesto's set was great. Starts off at an average tiesto speed, and then the 2nd hour was pure energy. Digweed was very good also. I just couldn't stand how bright the tent was. Sometimes I wish we could just turn the sun off for an hour.
Now what happens if lighting had struck the tent. Would it have fried us all!! Stupid Rules..
It was great seeing everybody again. I will have the pics up as soon as I have them developed.

I was really upset about not seeing cox too, but I thought tiesto was amazing. I hope he comes back to ny soon. I didn't even hear you call me matt it'd be cool if we met up. My signed shoe is now sacred, i don't think i'm ever gonna wear those sneakers again.

Taub..i guess it is - i was standing right behind you with you waving your vynils right in my face.. I couldn't see shit cause of them... no disrespect or anything but....dont you think that kinda kicked the DJ off stage... at least let him finish...
Tiestos set was sick.... i dunno what peoples complaints are about it...the mixing was on cue... i mean what other DJ you're gonna see in NY thats better?........
sux about cox...but hell with him....he'll be in NY soon enought at arc or the new opening crowbar whatever......
my take on them shutting down the electronica tent is that moby was like shit this is my tour and the ampatheater is emty -get me an audience damn it
well maybe not.... but judging by the number of people in the tent vs the rock/rap stage..... rock is dead... as much as i love classic rock... with bowe doing his thing really well..... still i was too bumbed out about not being able to dance anymore.....

Area 2 I had a great time hanging out with Ruby Riva, Ronna Riva , tom , Matt, Choobaka, Ricki , and Alax. I thought Tiesto was spinning decent stuff for the first hour ........ When the clock struck 5 TIESTO toor it up!!!!!!! He went back way back to his old school ways of hard trance.... The highlight of my night was getting Tiesto to take a picture with me , ricki , and alax

yo yo wutups long time no talk everyone...matt nice seeing u at tijs...one question for john (pyro) i saw you came up to my boy to cop candy and i asked u if u was from TA and you said nah. was i buggin too hard or you just didnt hear wha i was saying. my boy is a short fat spanish nigga his name is koki/goki or however you wanna pronounce it. sorry i couldnt make it over to the TA group I got a really good spot infront by the gate and was crowded by beatiful women. if you saw a huge holland flag then you know who i am...tiesto definitely brought back memories...in this order and only this order - Limelight number 1, World number 2, and Area2 number 3. Both exit shows sucked my left donkey toe but those round out the top three for me. oh ya, i was so fucked cuz i travelled all morning to get to the party. i went from PR to Miami to NYC and out to LI all before 4pm. but i got there it was a long magik journey~
on the side note, tijs said thanks to for the support. i got to talk to him for a few mins cuz he remembered me from Virgin when he originally signed that Holland Flag. So I got my ticket signed along with my ISOS3 signed. Pulled him over for a few secs to ask him about Ligaya and why he didnt play it. Much to my surprise the beef between corsten and tijs seems to be as real as it has been hyped up to be. tijs wanted no part in answering any of the questions i asked about gouryella as a group or ligaya. he seemed rather disgusted and shrugged me off by saying "i cant hear you, i dont know what you are talking about." and keep in mind we was whispering in eachother's ears as the conversation was thrown back and forth. all in all, tijs latest preformance at area2 pushed him back up in the ranks. still rounding out in the top 3. prior to area2, i had tijs down in the 5ives.
digger had me goin no joke he had me goin. although a bit repetative, he did bang it like he usually does, dark and hard. i wanted more for digger and then round it up with cox. just so much anticipation boiling then that shit gets closed down. RIP OFF~ haha and yes i was heavily FUCKED UP so driving out of the arena was way too hard. ended up in Nassau somewhere out in LI where there was no lights on the highways and shit. tip dont drive on 4 pills. hehe ok ok well you all kno whats up drop me a line peoples...

These came out pretty good. As usual, most of them are dark. The group ones came out great. I tore that disposible camera apart during the event. I had no water bottle
No damage done to the film thank god.
lols i had a feeling it was him from TA. as for koki on speed dial? lols put it this way koki is like on of my close peeps we can get you people *anything* literally you name it we got it haha so give koki a ring and if anything he'll put you through to me or anyone who has what you need....

Ide have to say, seeing someone get there shoe signed by tiesto was funny as hell... and one question.. why dosent diggers ever look up when he mixes... i think he looked at the crowd a total of like 3 times
i had a ton of fun at Area2!!!!!!!!!
i think i had some mexican jumping beans prior to the show cause all i could do was jump, jump, jump! tiesto tends to have that effect on me...actually i had a large cup of coffee prior to walking in and had those free energy drink samples.
a bit disappointed with tiesto...that set was sooo similar to his NEC set from april. he played a few good tracks, but no real flow to his set.
DIGWEED ROCKED MY WORLD....omg....his set was off the hook!! his mixing sooooo smooth, and beats soooooo hard. all i could do was DANCE!!
got tiesto's and digweed's autograph, took a ton of pics, but i haven't gotten them developed yet. as soon as i do (and if they come out) i'll post them!
it was soooo good to see TA's out and about...what a blast!! i'm glad we all got to chat afterwards as well. can't wait to party with all of you again!! see ya at sasha......
