Hamid - Stockholm syndrome [Dark tribalistic prog]

It's dark and very cold up here in Sweden this time of the year. Perfect conditions for a dark and chunky prog mix.
I tried to keep it groovy from start to finnish. Enjoy and leave comments!
If anyone got a better host to upload to please give me a shout.

Putting this on my Christmas wishlist.
sweet! been looking for a mix like this for a while!
Gonna give this a crack. Looks tasty although prog hasn't been floatin my boat as much lately though.
Looks like something I will enjoy... Liking the looks of this a lot.
Grabbing this.
I'll give it a proper host for you, but it will have to wait until morning, my time, since Sendspace typically hates me by being slow.
Sushi: Ok nice. Give me a shout when you put it up
Great mix, as I expected. The transition around the 37 minute mark was a little bit bassy, but everything else sounded good. I don't really need to comment on the tracks; your taste is impeccable and I think everyone already knows that. I've also been stuck indoors, and this is going to get heaps of airtime in the coming months.

I had a huge weekend and felt really shitty the past couple of days as a result. I listened to this again today, and man did it cheer me up. I love the way you play that string of similar tracks, drop the energy back with the male vocal track, and then slam it back up with the next one. Very clever flow device, if you did it on purpose.
Listened to this mix twice. The music straight away dives into a subtle tribal vibe with a middle eastern intro. The darkish tribal groove is present throughout the mix and it morphs into tech trance with the Incolumnis track, and ends with Vicious circle which is a highly melodic tune when compared to other tracks. I like the transition but I wonder if this is probably misplaced coz the feel and mood of the mix is changed quite suddenly - it ends colorful and happy!
There is no new material here which is just fine. All tracks are from 2000 to 2004 period except Yekuna which is from 1997.
I am getting more interested in the dark and progressive side of psytrance, so this mix will sit well in my collection.
I'm sorry it took me so long to listen. This set is killer. You have a variety of dark, thick, proggy weapons that you thrash around with aggressive tact for the whole mix. The mood is grim, the sound is filled with a very deep richness, and the flow is driven hard by a relentless groove that pounds away for 68 delicious minutes. Mixing is pretty great, especially the bigger tracks that carry more energy; I love the way those pick up the pace and really lay the hammer down. The closer wasn't out of place at all, I think it was a great way to end the set. Nice job, I had high expectations and you definitely delivered.
the tracks were well picked as always, but this mix was weak compared to others you have put out. the way you place the melodic tracks in between the chunkier, more aggressive stuff is especially well thought out.

Rebel, do you have any mixes with tracks which are deep and progresssive psy?
Links to any other mixes from other DJs with similar style will also be appreciated if you know any. Yes I enjoyed this one and Thanks again.

Btw.. I still have a couple of your chill out sets and the one you did with Espe.

There are a couple of guys here on TA who regularly post prog psy mixes. Domesticated for instance. Check him out. There are more but I can't remember the names.
This is the first time I've ever seen somebody use Incolumis - Different Sun 2 on a mix. I love you.
