Yep, that soundtrack is amazing, even though I've never played the game.

likewise. Shard is my highlight from it. Stunning.

I feel pity for those who are unaware of ocremix. There's so much talent there!
I mostly just check out the Zelda, Metroid and Okami-stuff though.

Best covers of Metroid I've found is Metal Metroid. Varia Suite is a fucking awesome CD.

Thanks for reminding me to check out the site btw, they just released a Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening album which is awesome.

I confess I almost cried like a bitch at :49 on this one. Soooo many memories came flooding back with that note.

I dig the Silent Hill series soundtrack the most. At least Akira Yamaoka's stuff.

This one is reallyz dark and weird and freaky but I love it.

The guitar solo part in this one is just eargasmic.

Didn't you post a thread not too long ago chastising the use of previously produced material/sampling?!?

I believe there's a huge difference between a remix and sampling something from an old track and making it your own with a total different name, beat, feel to it...

Nicki Minaj - Your Love

^

Now if it was Annie Lennox - No More I Love Yous (Nicki Minaj's Interpretation) i would understand

You see what i mean?

A remix of a good song is totally fine with me, but taking something from a song we all know and drastically changing it and making it your own doesn't sit right with me...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, this is my opinion.

The End
