-- Converting .ASF

Hey.

I have a huge problem, I downloaded the Oakie set which Swamper put up, my only problem is that it is in .ASF.
I dont like .ASF (dont like the constant buffering, you cant choose where to start looking either, not in this movie), so I thought Id convert it to mpg, or maybe to AVI.

Well, thats easier said then done.
I tried converting with VirtualDub, it wont even load the file. It just spits out "ASF Data Chunk Missing" and thats that. I have looked for ways to fix the .ASF but without luck.

So I tried a program called tmpg (or something like that), well it started converting, It was to take 30hours and 25 minutes, so I left it running when I went to bed, 30 hours isnt that much when you are talking about a Okie set. :P

When I woke up (8 hrs later) and looked at the screen It had kinda recalculated the Estimated Time, now it was suppose to take 369(!) hours!

See the problem ? :P

Anyway, anyone have a suggestion what I can do ?
So I could convert it and maybe send it to Swamper if he
wants it in another format.
