well there are different promoters for the same events and sometimes if the thread falls in the 2nd/3rd page they don't see it.

an active mod would just merge those threads together....

what specificially? links pls

There is an "events" forum. Not hard to check if the event is listed there, first.

Of course it'll happen sometimes nonetheless.

Posted by Nerologic on Dec-22-2010 02:38:

I don't want to point out anything in specific, but it's been going on a lot recently with in the past few weeks...

4-6

Posted by bas on Dec-22-2010 06:55:

Like what? Point something out specific.

A lot of times what happens is the same promoter will make two threads, one in the event forum and one in the regular forum. I don't know how or why they're doing it but I usually just delete the one in the regular forum.

edit // Ok, Giant NYE. My bad. Also, there are two separate parties called Day One. Talk to the promoters about that if it bothers you

I'd point out 3 different promoters made Epic San Diego threads. I'm not saying anything about the event, but its kind of lame to see three of the same event threads posted in a row.

They may have been merged by now, and I understand promoters have different lists, but just add a line in there about your list. If people give a crap about the event (being that they are already in your thread), and want to look for a list or for tickets, they are going to read through the thread.

I speak from experience. It looks a lot better if your promoters are working together on here than working as separates.

Where are they going? Back go to vanguard? Henry fonda? downtown? Teaming up with Insomniac again?

I'm so out of the loop on everything right now, heh.

All the info for the nights at Avaland through February still say Liquified and Giant...they were careful with how things were expressed in the ticket sales when Giant was moving back to Avalon from Vanguard, so I dunno. Could very well just be templated stuff still. All the January-Feb gigs past Jan 1 were just added yesterday at some point. They weren't there Tuesday evening.

Oh I agree man, I try to keep everything in order but I miss some stuff.
