Dragon Rising is shit, even for $3. Get ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead (the Combined Ops version with the original ArmA2).

Add in the ACE mod and you can do very realistic sniper/spotter missions.



Obviously the windage and the distance can be done by a spotter, this guy was doing it by himself (slower).

I have played with people that do real sniper spotter techniques and its very exciting. They can put a round in a target in 15-20 seconds from 500-750 meters easily.

That game seems boring as fuck.

ArmA2's mission editor is by and away one of the best in any game. Very easy to use, very easy to script for.

Skip about halfway through this video. Playing as insurgents conducting an ambush on a Russian convoy.



The end gets really intense.

OFP Dragon Rising is a shit rip off of the game trying to make a buck on the name of OFP (which was originally made by the same company that makes ArmA2).

Man you missed out. Classic WoW had its moments.

A player died in real life so their guild members held a funeral in-game...which got raided. BUTTHURT WAS HAD.

PC gaming is not reading a fucking phone book to know how to play a game. it is entrainment and a time waster. it's meant to be easy to get into and fast.

games that are super balling are easy to learn but have a high skill ceiling, ie sc2.

if i wanted realism for war id go to my bros at csis and have em throw me in a simulator..

i hardly ever played MP, it was horribly broken at launch. you wouldnt really need him to call them out, as your scope would be just as useful.

id stick with coop. and don't listen to nou, he knows about good gaming as he does about vagina.
