you clearly have not have 200 people standing in line waiting for a beer yelling at you for not pouring fast enough... moron

What sorcery is this!?

Posted by WhooCares on Dec-25-2010 07:46:

that is pretty epic

Posted by Domesticated on Dec-25-2010 10:48:

How does it work? The bottom would have to be punctured for the beer to go in that way, which should then cause it to leak out when taken off the machine. Ergo...

It is borderline a thing of beauty. I instils happiness in me just watching it

THE DEMONRY!

Posted by Domesticated on Dec-25-2010 14:25:

Mystery solved. As someone else said, the important thing is how much the cups cost.

Posted by nefardec on Dec-25-2010 14:26:

it probably uses the weight of the liquid inside to seal the puncture in the bottom

Yeah, it gives them control over how much the cups might cost. If you could just use regular disposable cups for it, they'd have to make the device itself exorbitantly expensive.

I fail to see what the point is.

Reminds me of my own invention, which I want to install in my garden one day: the beer well. It looks like a well with a pump, but the pump is actually connected to a beer barrel hidden underground:

Something tells me this isn't for your average retard, but more for beer distributors at events. What's wrong with an increased beer turnover rate?

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-25-2010 15:38:

Nothing is wrong with it, he's just trying to submit that he knows how to pour beer "correctly" by antagonizing the purpose of an automation. Nobody actually cares that he can pour liquid like a gentleman, but we're polarized into giving thought toward his comment if he suddenly labels something as ridiculous. "Only retards need a machine to pour beer for them!" That sort of thing.

I hope that I cleared this up for you, ziptnf.

It's not like the bottom will ever drop out of the beer market.

Did you just counter-pun your own pun?

I like the syncopation of a good counterpuntal cadence.

The ignorant people who think this pointless have clearly never worked in hospitality. Even at events serving bottled beer, I've been forced to pre-open a large percentage of the bottles just prior to rush times. Any small amount of preparation time you can shave off is beneficial. Additionally, at sporting events in stadiums, you tend to have a large number of inexperienced staff who can't pour a beer properly. Having a machine that does it for them means you don't have to worry about that.
