ebook readers
to those that have an ebook reader, whats your experience been like so far? im thinking of buying one but the thing that bothers me a bit is the difficulty of annotating/underlining/high-lighting. because most of the stuff i read is technical i often have to make notes or underline parts i think are important so i can go back later and find them easily, however with ebook readers like the kindle there's no stylus provided and i'd imagine its a pain doing those things. the only one i've found so far that has a stylus is from sony but its a bit costlier than i'd like to pay, around $230
sounds like there is no need for you to buy one and yet you want to buy one.
I have seen a ton of complaints on Amazon about the formatting of formulas and symbols in math and science e-books, so I would be really cautious about going for technical works.
And Amazon has erased books from their costumers at least a couple of times because their censorship is retroactive.

the updated version of the barnes and noble reader... err.. nook, or whatever (the color version) is pretty sweet, from what i have experienced. i'm thinking about buying one for my mom for her birthday. it's about $250.
