Taxi Driver Redux

This is work based upon music from one of the opening scenes in the film, Taxi Driver (heard in the embed, below, during the first 49 seconds).

Here is my version:

Listening..

Nice atmosphere, nice kick overall.. could use pherhaps a bit more rhythm and snap to the snare.
I like those little perc fills coming here and there, makes it kinda not repetitive.
The track could however use a kind of break somewhere in the middle.

One of the better tracks ive heard from you i think, nice atmosphere overall. Good stuff.

Really good mix, enjoyed listening, I like the "bongo" style bass drum, kind it feels a leather texture. Nice how you worked the Intro and outru adding elements. I agree the snare is a bit static, could variate after the geometric sequence of Xn=2^n beats. I agree some breaks would make the tune more more interesting. The instrumental sounding at the back, was really nice!

Thanks very much, guys. Glad you liked it. It was definitely one of the more challenging songs I've worked on.
