Finally the remix project of DJ UMEK'S "Gatex" has been scheduled for release in the first weeks of September.

Initally the idea was only 2 mixes of Ti�sto and Montana, but Black Hole has asked UMEK himself to do a remix of his own song and Oliver Lieb (DE) which is well known from his strong cross-over techno/trance sound under the name L.S.G. So the final mixes will be from DJ Ti�sto, UMEK, Montana, Oliver Lieb, Le Blanc and the original take.

Mint track but i dont think the techno fans will appreciate Tiesto remixing this classic. I dont think it needs a remix anyways, Im sure the Techno fans share my opinion

well, i feel differently
i dun think a remix could possibly hurt the track
it may juss hurt the reputation of the remixer

but i guess it'd be interesting to hear what Tiesto have up his sleeves
considering his past few remixes weren't too great

It's also my opinion that this track doesn't need any remixes but anyways...
When I posted this topic on a Slovenian forum (UMEK IS OURS YOU KNOW!!!), there were surprisengly good responses, no flaming and all.
We hope for the best >>>> Lieb remix, now that is a good news!!!!

I heard the Tiesto remix live, Cant remember how good/shit it was like coz i was minging.

Tiesto played his remix of gatex at area 2 (at jones beach) for the encore. Everyone went pretty crazy when he played it. i loved it. can't wait for a rip.

i think some people maybe confusing when tiesto plays gatex and plays a backbeat behind part of it as the tiesto mix, as it is not. i presume the tiesto mix will be much different from the original.
