So a whole company of soldiers with proper documentation and actual weapons is there, and the TSA tries to play airport security with them? Ahahahaha, idiots

That's pretty old, but still funny.
When you consider the increase in automobile accident related fatalities as a result of increased traffic attributable to people choosing to drive rather than fly at least in part to avoid dealing with the TSA, I submit that the TSA has probably killed more Americans in the last ten years than terrorists have.
All to accomplish precisely dick other than to help a few cowardly morons mistakenly feel marginally less inclined to wet themselves over the prospect of partaking in the safest form of long-distance travel on the planet.
The whole phenomenon is a pretty good microcosm of humanity in general, I think.
If they were this attentive to the condition of the air craft and the health of the people controlling them, I would actually feel a lot safer.
In the meantime, I suppose I will try to find some comfort that there wont be anyone wielding nail clippers on the plane that's well overdue for some maintenance and being manned by the hungover/sleep deprived/depressed etc. pilots.
