I got the programs to convert wav to mp3. Now I want to be able to share those converetd files on napster. Is there a reason why certain files or those converted files won't show up on npatser???? Like a decoder lock or some shit like that. Any help would be appreciated.

example.. I made my own mix with mj player. Coverted it to mp3 using the plug in on winamp to mp3 and did not show up in napster.

oh so you're technony!!! heheh. i've downloaded quite a number of files from ya a little while ago. my screen name was Ngelfyre. yeah it's some mp3 encoding thing that napster looks for...it happens to me all the time...but i never bothered to fix it. i'll look into it for ya...

It may also be the name of your set thats not letting your file show up in napster

Napster now has filters in place to stop ppl downloading certain MP3's thanx to the RIAA

but it does not filter a artist or a track
it works on key words

example - they filtered out the word storm

so u wont be able to find
Storm - time to burn in a search cos of the word storm
or any track or artist containing the word storm

Napster have done this to loads of stuff
i got a mix i made myself with the word storm in it
so i got to rename my track as well to make it visable in napster

if this list is true I believe not cause napster is my god most people now are realiying on peoples hotlist because searching will barely work. Also all the songs are there for you to download??
