a day of terror in Israel

today, in 7 terror attacks, died 11 ppl
these terror attacks included: 1 suicide bombing
2 shootings, 3 bomb attacks, 1 attempt of entering Israeli land by sea into israeli civilian area, missles and margema shootings

today
i woke up at 12pm
opened the tv and saw the pictures of the dead and injured
and i thought, what if that person that lost his sight in his right eye and severly damaged his hearing was my brother? and what if that woman that was killed on her way to work was my mother?
i sat in front of the tv, saw the pictures, thought a little and cried

i saw some of ur responses to other threads like these and i just wanna ask u that the next time u c the pictures form Israel after a suicide bombing or another terror attack
please put urself in our position and try to imagine what it feels like to lose someone who was like a brother or a mother to you

I was actually going to post the same thing today. I woke up and read that on the newspaper. Its not just this that is upsetting, but that it is still happening and seems to happen on a daily or weekly occasion.

I wonder how people in that region can actually live there. I know I couldn't I would move, but I don't know how easy that would be. I would probably stay inside my house all day stocked with massive firearms and bulletproof vests.

This is a war between Isreal and Palestine, but why havent they declared war and get the matter over with?

the palastiniens started one day with massive attacks on israel soldiers and civilians
the situation was good
when it started we were willing to give them what ever they waned but they refused...
so we went on battling until now and it still continues
due to the war the situation in Israel got worse and more ppl dont have jobs and the stock exchange is dropping hard so ppl dont have money to move
and this is our country and we love it so there is no reason to move too

think that one day a war in ur country would suddenly start- would u move?

i have to tell u, i dont get out much bcz of the situation, im too afraid to die this young and its very scary to sit in cafe places with friends bcz u dont know when someone will come to u and blow up in ur face
we r extremly afraid of every day that goes by that we'll die

i'm sorry for all those who die in israel , but think about the others who die in the other side ...

do u mean the terrorists or those who die from ACCIDENTS WHEN THE TERRORIST PUT THEM IN TRAPS THAT WERE MENT FOR US?!

we dont just kill civilians
if someone dies there its for a reason

When I heard this I really freaked out, first thing I did was call my aunt at work make sure she was ok, she rides the same route to work as the bus that blew up did, luckily she was ok, but I was scared as hell. All this petty violence needs to stop Stupid terrorists, stupid aerefat, I hoep you die

well ill tell u the story- the real one- the one that CNN or BBC or SKY didnt show...

one day israeli soldiers went in to Jenin camp to find terrorists that were there based on intel. info
they arrived and the terrorists saw them coming so they blew up a HUGE explosive lab that was built under the camp which caused the whole camp to fall
killed 12 elite soldiers and pales. civilians

if there's a person to blame , it must be Sharon ...

Israelians want peace , they want security , they want to live next to the Palestinians as neighbours ... but the government doesn't , Sharon doesn't , the extreme right doesn't , the highest religious authorities doesn't ...

Palestinians (including Arafat) want peace , they want security , they want to live next to the Israelians as neighbours ... but hamas/hezbollah doesn't ...

A stupid death is a death wether it's an inoccent israely or a palestinian child.

who do u think pays the suicide bombers? certenly not hamas bcz they dont have the money for it
when israeli soldiers searched the Mokata'a building in Rammalah they found documents that arafat signed himslef to give money to suicide bombers, explosives and some bio. warfare util.
they also found an underground hidden room which held more than 200 anti tank missles which were not allowed to b held by the Oslo agreements

and all of this- under arafats nose- now tell me he wants peace

Thinking that one side is the guilty is a mistake. Thinking that each side acts "together" (that is, that we can generalise israely and palestinian actions and attitudes) is another mistake.

Both palestinians and israelis have elements (groups, factions) that IMO don't want peace, but war. It is hard to identify them, but I can point at Hamas and maybe to some elemements of the israely extreme-right.

So what has happened it's not fault of any side entirely, there are guilty ones at both sides. And beware of news, they can be manipulated in many ways by both sides (YES, BOTH sides).

i dont say that we dont have nothing to do with this
we have some to blame for
but the hamas org. has been listed in the US's list of terror orgs. and i think that means something.. dont u?

Of course arefat wants the bombing, he funds it. As long as that dumbass is in power peace wont ever come about. Oh, and the palestinans do want peace, as soon as there arn't any more israleis living in israel Why can't we all get along?

And then move accross to all the palastinians, Speak to 12,13,17,30 and so on, ppl, they all care for one thing: KILL ISRAELIS.

Now i think that in the western socaiety that we built for half a century here in israel, things like this shouldn't happen !

All i'm saying is, stop talking like u know something. stop attacking Israel, stop thinking that The palastinians are the conqured and mizzrible ppl. Start thinking about the whole picture.

Chook, to be perfectly honest I cant fully comprehend what you guys have been through, however I do here that theres been a bombing sometimes and run to the phone to call all my relatives, I'm sure its much worse for you there, and I hope there is a solution, but do you think there can be peace w/ arefat still in power? Personally I dont

Anyway, i m sure that if u or me would have grow up in the [inhuman] conditions most palestinians have, it's pretty probable we may have ended thinking the way you say palestinians think.

Think about that fact and you'll see that the sustainable solution lies in giving the palestinians more conditions of development... if they live in a place where they can�t see a future, their desesperation may lead to stupid things like bombing themselfs up in behalf of some dumb ideology.

I know it's very hard to "try to help" the one's that bomb you, but the solution may lie there.

this isnt Iraq's army where u do wtf u want and get off from it

ppl who die there ARE TERRORISTS period!
they are responsible for the deaths of 100's of innocent israeli civilians
but when u fight in a civilian area deaths of innocent ppl do happen
this is what war brings with it- war doesnt end with no one dying some ppl wanna go through the crossfire just to die as a "shahid" and for the sake of it- i dont know y they do it...

i say that after putting together a pay-per-view boxing match between
sharon and arafat (the beast of the middle east match). Winner of that match gets nothing except a pat on the back. And then after this thy should elect new more moderate leadership so they can actually get some dialogue going with out one side bombing the shit out of each other.
