Art Of Trance and Union Jack in Manchester, 5th Feb
As a lot of you probably know, Art Of Trance and Union Jack are playing in Manchester on the 5th February. It goes without saying that a lot of people around here would slice their right hand off to see these two play, so I thought I'd ask if any other TAs will be attending, and bring the event to the attention of anyone who didn't know.
(I know I could have posted this in the UKTA section, but not only is that section utterly dead, I've spoken to a few non-UK TAs who were considering travelling across for this night.)
Come on now, at least post the damn flyer.
That's the weekend following my birthday, actually. Not sure if I can afford another hotel weekend stay, however, and the lineup alone isn't gonna have me making that kind of trek up norf. Would be fun to meet a bunch of people again though, not done that since Awakenings in 2005 or something.
I'd consider slicing both hands off, but I don't think it would enable me to go
God damn that night is going to be fantastic.
WOW
I'd love to be at this party!!
they made some of the nicest "trancey" trance tracks back in the day, are they good as djs/live today?
I guess I'll find out.
I'm not expecting anything remotely revolutionary from the night, but it'll be great to hear some old school trance in a club. I've heard lots of classic prog on the dancefloor, but this will be a new pleasure.
niceeeee
should def be a good night of music
looks like a crazy night!
i wish i was in the uk..... oh wait its sunny and 29 degrees here today....
hmm maybe not

I can get a plane ticket for under 700 USD. So...who wants to have me over for a few days?
I'd be willing to put up travelling TAs, except I don't live in Manchester and I'm travelling across on the train myself.
What airport would I need to fly into if I were to take you up on that offer, System?
Leeds-Bradford, but sadly I don't think it's viable. If you take away taxi and train fares, you'd be as well flying into Manchester and booking a hotel room. It was more a "I'd love to help folks out, but..." comment than a realistic proposition.
If there's no afterparty I'm gonna be sat in Manchester Picadilly station on the come-down for two hours waiting for the morning train.
Gotcha. I will look into booking a ticket to Manchester next week and crashing at a hostel.
I came.
Somebody better record this liveset.

I obviously want to go to this, but I'm not sure if I can make it, due to work. I'll find out in a week or two.
Fingers crossed, though

I was trying so hard to get back to Europe for this week, too.
What a fantastic lineup.
I invite myself to kick my ass soundly.
