Britney Spears goes dubstep, lol

I've seen critics say this song includes trance, dubstep, house and rave elements. It's actually kinda catchy And it has a full on dubstep break. Gotta say I didn't expect that.

A dub version of this would actually be, dare I say, good I think.

LOL, that was horrible.

Posted by JakeC on Jan-14-2011 20:05:

That is just shit.

Beats the shit out of that Tiesto feat. Busta Rhymes tune.

The percussion is actually very good.

The breakdown into subdub buggery is also well executed, but the wobble isn't the best.

did skrillex make this track?

heavy sidechain... a saw at the end, yes really has some trance influence... but this track is really shit, boring, a dub version would be even worst, the vocals are extremely cheesy and the lirycs are vomitive but apart from the dubstep there is nothing attractive nor in the rythm or in the melody (lack of melody in this case).

Best of this is the video, half porn. She is still hot, was my youth lady, now instead of thinking she is so hot i think she is a whore that needs to show flesh to catch attention.

This is actually a very good song that's designed well. I don't like it personally though.

Behind this big pop names there is always i'dnt say a talented producer but this people usually know what they do. In any case this is worst than selling your soul to the devil.

I love the bass line to this track and I actually made a recreation of it that sounds exactly the same, because it bothers me that it's under a low pass filter for 90% of the track and you never hear it.

Posted by LiQuiD_FuSioN on Jan-15-2011 16:07:

When I first heard it, I wanted to automatically hate it like a snob.. it's Britney ffs! But it's actually decent. I bet most Americans won't even know what Dubstep is, they'll probably eat it up.

Btw, I also thought someone like Skrillez or even deadmau5 helped with production. Reminds me of Madonna's Confessions album which had a lot of dance/electronica tracks.

1999-00 Spears was impeccable. Im not a fan anymore.

Sugar coated turd.

That sidechained bass is pretty awful, but at least the percussion is ok.

You do realise that this is not an actual video, just a compilation of shreds from previous videoclips she made?

Which doesn't make it any less pornish of course

Everything is always popular here 10 years after it was popular somewhere else
