i see too many of these threads...

! of hdds crashing loosing all your trance i think its a omen i would be devestated if that happened to me! i think i have about 35 gig now and i siphon everything when i download and rename and spend lots of time making cues and all that basically i spend lots of time into it i wanna back up all my stuff but i keep putting it off but no more! i need to know a clear and consise method of CATALOUGING all this though i tried 2 programs... before when i wasn't really serious and even now i dont like them much : Supercat and mp3stock anyway can anyone please give me some concrete suggestion (or links) too good programs that let you catalouge all your shit (i calculated il need about 50 cds!) in a easy consise way! thankyou!
mann this is gonna be such a chore i have a 8x burner :/
i figure maybe a cd whenever i have spare time or 2 or 3 a day... and itl be done in a month but who has that patience eh i need a 40x burner and do it all now now now
hehehe and blank cds! anyway any input appreciated

i burned 38gigs onto 55 700mb CDs with my 4x burner do it, cuz my hdd broke down 2 days after i finished backing up (actually, i broke it ) fortunately, i was able to fix, there was this one contact that broke off of the control board, but whatever... do it, man, hdd's are dropping like flies...

i see dead harddrives...

...well, there's those lite-on 48x40x12 drives can be found for $99 now...and the kodak 80min golds in 100 cakes for $80 at the computer markets

...other option is the seagate 80g drives for $180 if u want to run raid, or manual backup

...or if u have a stupidly huge budget...the dvd-r/rw is always a good way to save cds

i got me 50 blue cyanide 80min CDs for $7, and they're gonna send me $5 back by mail

i'm telling you, these days recordables cost as much as printer paper. can't wait to see when the mp3-dvd-cd players come out... 5 gigs on a cd! jeez!
