Isn't Nocturnal planned for 2 days this year also?
Wow, I'd be surprised if that's true. Considering the 18+ rule, I assumed Insomniac would have to cut back a little and spend less money. I guess not.
I was worried that they would have to cut back on the scale of productions at EDC since I figured they would not be bringing in as much people/money with the 18+ restriction. It was my first time at EDC last year and I was very impressed with the set ups on the stages so I hope they do not cut back too much.
It will be interesting to see how the attendance numbers compare to 2010.

This would make sense in a way because UMF is 3 days this year. So since they're "competing" with them for best Festival/Biggest attendance in North America it COULD make sense. Though what the fuck do I know.

Electric Zoo in NYC is also moving to 3 days this year...so it is possible.

Maybe Armin Only will be held at EDC on Sunday like how ASOT 500 is held at UMF. Just a wild guess...

Have a massive feeling production will be way down compared to all age events. Which is why I hope Ultra proves me right on this...
Ultra still has the age advantage to bring in more money. They better have top notch production that beats Insomniac. The two used to compete on production in the states - though that doesnt say much in general haha.
But with one being 21 and over now, that will def change up

Nocturnal and Monster Massive both had great production, and they were 18+.
might be for setup, but might also be their way of shrinking the event while not shrinking the amount of artists they have and tickets they sell.
Set up the stages one, use them three times = more income!
Plus bragging rights!!!

Sunday is probably for clean up...
EDC is scheduled to be a 2 day festival this year. just like last year.
