Tickets and more information available soon!
For more than two decades, the world has known Paul van Dyk as one of Germany's most successful musicians and as one of the ultimate superstars of electronic music. As an artist, DJ and producer, Paul has surpassed various milestones over the course of his career, including having sold more than 3.5 million albums and being twice voted the world's No.1 DJ. He has remixed the likes of Madonna, Justin Timberlake, U2 and Depeche Mode. Earning a Grammy nomination and accepting the Order of Merit from the state of Berlin are just two of Paul's numerous accomplishments and accolades for his talents.
His sensational DJ sets attract expansive crowds on every continent. Not only does van Dyk fill the world's best-known venues, but every year he transforms New York's Central Park into a unique open-air festival. His solo, beach-side performance in Rio de Janeiro attracted over one million people, and in May, he took over Londons O2 Brixton Academy for a standout show, whetting the UKs appetite for his forthcoming Summer festival appearances.
Away from the world of music, Paul's extracurricular exploits are without comparison. He grew up in East Berlin and experienced a divided city first-handedly in the former GDR, then beheld such historical events as the of the fall of the Berlin wall and the city's re-unification. World leaders and a television audience of billions recently witnessed Paul's performance of his anthem "We Are One" at the German Reunification ceremony, reiterating his role as a unique ambassador for the dance music community.
During his extensive travels, Paul has been both an established figure for the youth and also a musical ambassador for the re-united Germany. Closer to home both geographically and personally his social enterprise work in Berlin includes his charity Rckenwind, which has led to regular dialogue with Germanys politicians and policy makers on diverse issues. Paul van Dyk is truly an exceptional figure.
2010 has already been a shining and noteworthy year for Paul, commencing with the launch of a global tour in celebration of 10 Years of VANDIT, his record label. The anniversary coincides with the release of Paul's Gatecrasher Anthems album. His Cream Ibiza club nights will also be branded under the same 10 Years of VANDIT banner. Keep close eye on September 11th 2010, when Paul van Dyk offers the most-legendary, colossal night of all, WE ARE ONE with Underworld, Armin van Buuren and PvD himself, at Berlins O2 Arena.

+1
but will probably still go...lol
I agree - down with 1015 traitors. but i think i will have to come up to sf to go see pvd b/c he's been avoiding club dates in la. sux!
FUCK THIS SHIT. YOU RUINED THE CLUB. STOP BEING A GREEDY AND FUCKING DUMB OWNER.
Truly tragic the ideals of we all used to know as 1015 has lost its way.
One time night then back to "latino fight club."

Do we all remember the the last show he did at 1015?
Yeah...it was THAT GOOD!
I will be there...hell I'd go if he were playing city night or the factory...
Let's be honest. PvD hasn't been PVD for years. If you thought his last show as 1015 was good, then you should've have seen him when he was actually the PvD that most of us loved.

Most of you know how big of a supporter I was of 1015. Seeing how the club has degraded over the course of these last months, I'm thankful that the artist we had on roster want to continue working with us outside this once amazing venue.
It hurts me to say this, but in IMHO, these are reasons why I choose not go to to 1015 this night.
1: I don't feel safe there, with the security at low standards now, there is a possiblity that trouble will ensue, and it has. The new security did nothing to stop anything from happening. They just let it happen. This happened several times our final weeks at the club.
2: Security guards are on a superduper power trip, often shining lights in your face to lessen the club experience just because they can... walking and wading in and out of the crowd with the lights facing outwards towards patrons faces. I've seen it happen. It sucks. expect this to happen to you this night. I got pissed at several of them doing this towards our last events.
3: Those of you who attend this event, be aware of these factors, because with the lack of experience from these security guards, its not a place I personally would want to be if something went down. when we were running events ,safeguards were put in place to assist if anything ever happened, those safeguards are now gone, or non existent. The weekend after we left, 15 fights in the club, 8 of them in the mainroom. Going to the club that same night, the mainroom was shutdown and empty at 1:30AM. EMPTY
4: 1015 should change their name to PURA nightclub, and leave the 1015 name behind.
5: They can bring in who they want, but 1015 will never be the same. its great to see that some djs and crews locally are becoming involved, but the magic is gone. That magic that kept 1015 going all those years, was its attendees and the dance centric people who came week after week to experience the club. How is this night going to pan out with latino musica lovers, and dubshit & crap hop mixed with a handful of our regulars?
6: I have been by the club at different times during the night, and witnessed several police officers outside of 1015. I spoke to staff. No one knew what was happening, and everyone joking about why they cops were there and what happened. Again, security guards not caring for the safety of the partons inside the club.
7: IF you choose to go to this event on March 18th , go because you love EDM....and For PVD.
Support your local Djs, and have fun.
I thought they werent doing edm at all anymore? why the turnaround?

Misinformation ---
1. 1015 continues to do alot of EDM shows.. Fridays are off the hook with some of the most cutting edge electronic artist of our days.. including Joker, flying lotus, sebastian leger, zombie disco squad, gold panda, rusko, dirtybird.. list goes on!!! most of these show are selling out and people arent expecting to be on a free list cause they know these are quality shows!!!
2. Trance on Saturday night is no more, because of one reason it was losing money, no matter if we had two headliners etc.. we tried lots of things, and Taj tried lots of things it just didnt work. In the end ruby skye going hard with Trance on friday nights and offering free lists etc.. made the demographic that goes to these parties spread to thin.. plus alot of the artist that 1015 helped build decided thay want to play ruby skye, leaving the club with very little pool of talent that would actually draw anyone to the club..
3. 1015 will always support underground music and even more so in the upcoming year..
4. 1015 booked PVD contracted for the PVD show a long time ago while we still had the Saturday EDM night going..
If anything 1015 not doing a regular Saturday night EDM show has actually livened up the scene a bit with more parties happening in different places.. variety is the spice of life...
Presale ticket alootments will sell out in advance, a first for the history for the club!! get yours now
If you do not have a presale ticket we recommend getting there Early as there will only be a few available at the door!!
