If I know I want tracks about 115 bpm to download to mix, is there anyway i can search by bpm (115) on beatport or any other music retailer? I figure, there must be a way to search by bpm. Right?
Short story long: No.
Might I ask why?
Search Dance 2 Trance his stuff is around that bpms.
This is 115 bpm too i think
Use your ears.. Those sites don't have BPM information, you may try Ektoplazm though, but I don't know if that's the kind of music you are looking for.

You'd have to search for some "DJ's only" type site for that.
because most djs have pitch allowing them to fit track even if they are not the same speed to begin with. that is sort of the djs job.
A lot of the indie disco / nu house / electronica stuff on Beatport is pretty slow bmp wise is it not??
You could download Rapid Evolution .. it connects to an online database that holds BPM and Key.
Jay
BPM doesn't mean shit. Unless of course you were comparing it to gabber.....
bpm is everything and 128 is perfekt. think about it.
