Creator presents Pulse @ U.N.
Hi TA,
I have been thinking about starting a new monthly residency during "normal" club hours for a while. But It wasn't a decision I would take lightly.
I was looking for quality of sound, quality of crowd, and foremost, the freedom to stay true to my sound. And gladly, U.N. as offered me the complete package to bring you a new rocking night....
PULSE
Starting Friday February 25th at U.N., you can finally hear me playing a little earlier!
Although 95% of the music will be completely different from Black Out, you will hear the same passion for music. That dirty, engaging, electric sound that I am known for.
I will play an ALL NIGHT EXTENDED SET for the opening night to kick-off the celebrities. Then, will share my night with favorite locals.
Be sure to be there for opening night! I know a lot of my "old" friends can't wait to be there and go home early! ha ha
TICKETS
Send your full names to [email protected] before 9pm on the night of the event to get your reduced 5$ cover.

Wow thats awesome.. congrats! Although I've never seen you at Circus (Soon, must check out Blackout) I have a pretty good idea of what you spin, and you'd probably freak the crowd out a little lol.. I'm guessing you'll be spinning deep and dubby techno?
No like I said, the track list will be completely different and obviously it doesn't have anything to do with my dub techno side.
People that have heard me play extended set know I have a wide range of style. You can often hear glimpse of that when I open early at Black Out, or some other events when I was invited like at Pearl or Piknic.
I actually played at UN with Maus in December.
So Pulse is the drunken side of what I play, not the druggy one. People won't be scared at all ;-)
Expect quality tech house, minimal, big room, one techno track to wake people up, some indie nu disco and other unusual stuff...
This news is fuckn top! Congrats on the new night!
good to hear martin. will for sure check this out. we had a couple great nights at pearl that might have been during regular hours, but certainly didn't feel it, so looking forward to see what this has in store.
Thanks a lot!
UN is such a crazy venue ! I've been there a couple of times and had a blast every time !
Congrats!
I am looking for a promoter interested in getting involved with this night, let me know. Thanks!
thats a badass flyer right there, Martin!
Thanks a lot Bobby, I love the flyer also!
This Friday! So excited for this new night!
Add yourself as attending to the Facebook event to be on the reduced guest.

TONIGHT is the official Pulse kick-off, I hope some of you will be there to celebrate.
Very nervous, that rarely happens anymore, but that's usually a very good sign. Will deliver ;-)
See you there!
Holy sh!t, first night of Pulse was phenomenal! Pure magic, crowd was rocking. Absolutely loved every second, can't wait for next month!
Thanks to everyone showing up.
On my way to NYC to see Ben Klock. Back next week for PFIRTER @ Black Out.
great night last night, you took over the dance floor at around 1:30 and didn't let up.
I'm really sadden this morning to hear that UN will not go on with the PULSE nights. I have been told that it's not the musical direction they want to take on Fridays, and that some regular customers were unsettled by the music.
I was surprised since I really felt that I played a very good, groovy set. People seemed to enjoy, but I guess it still wasn't mainstream enough.
So I am sad to say that there will no Pulse next month. I really enjoyed the night a lot. Looks like regular club hours are not for me.
that really sucks martin. sorry to hear that.
Thanks
what bullshit, i had a really good time...
I don't understand this, Carlo Lio's playing for the second time in a few months and he plays harder then you did last friday. It's unfortunate! I was looking forward to helping you build this night into something special.
I'm kinda curious...so do you mind if I ask the names of some of the tracks that you played?
Thanks Jason for all your help.
Yes indeed.
Reminds me when I was playing at Resolution, and heard afterwards that what I was playing wasn't commercial enough.
While I was playing, my friend was in the the artist room, where the music was playing, and heard Steve Lawler say to somebody: "This guy is good... he is fuckin good"
But since I am a local, didn't get any credit for it. When Steve Lawler does it, it's all good and everybody goes apeshit.
So big name = big draw. COuldn't care less if it's hard or not.
