To Be The Toke Of The Town?
On Tuesday I'll be flying back to Sydney to begin another year of uni. My last term didn't really go to well. Instead of doing my studies a lot of the time I would just smoke, and didn't have my priorities straight. I smoked almost every day, and often to the point where I would just feel faded for the rest of the day; thus ruining any hope of studying. The thing is, I also just bought a new bong a couple of days ago for around $550, with hopes of bringing it with me to school. At the moment I can see two paths to take.
The first is to take the bong with me. My original plan was to buy this piece, ship it over, and slang bud to make money and support my smoking habits. Last year, I spent way to much money on weed, often spending 100-200 a week. If I were to bring it, I would try and only smoke at night after I did my studying, and try and not do it every day. Even if I didn't slang though, I've been told that this piece will attract people to smoke with, and that eventually it will pay for itself potentially in bud. My main problem with this option though, is how would I stop myself from falling into the old habits of smoking when I need to study if I'm everyone's main supplier and constantly have bud?
The other option I see is to leave the bong at home with my friends and let them use it while I'm gone. I would stop smoking for this term, or at least I hope I can / would, and try to divert all my attention to working out and studying. Instead of smoking everyday, I would embrace the Irish in me and start to drink a lot more. Typically, I've always been into smoking rather than drinking. My fear with this plan though is that I would just start smoking again and spending all my money on bud like I used to. I didn't have a bong there before, so what's the difference now. What would really stop me from getting into old habits. A lot of the times I'll just be sitting around doing nothing bored, and think "Why not smoke now if you have nothing to do". Is smoking really that bad of a bad habit, or do I just not have enough self control to not make it a bad habit? All my friends say they smoke almost every day at their school except during exams, why can't I? I just feel like me bringing this bong to school will set the tone for this up coming term, and I don't want to make the wrong or mis-informed decision.

You're clearly bringing the bong to school. Why even ask us? Why would you spend that much money on a bong only to leave it at home w/ your friends....

he got in the 99.5 percentile for his LSAT and is now teaching prep courses
it does magical things. chalk one vote up for bring the bong.
A little goes a long way, creatively. A lot just deadens things, and if you wrote that first and only paragraph on weed...
Cut down or stop, altogether.
