this Napster shit is getting worse by the day, now i try downloading a song, and play it back and it sounds like 180 bpm... what the hell....never used to do that.....anyways, just wanted to share my feeling of disappointment with Napster with everyone - i think i'll go listen to more trance to make me feel better....

Think of how much good shit you've gotten from napster though.......it can't be that bad.

Try also www.limewire.com it's good for everything, music movies, programs,....

I remember a post very similar to this about a month back. Napster was the first file sharing program, if it wasn't for it no other would have existed so you should stop slagging it off! I have had my problems with Napster though, the worst was when I spent ages downloading Peach "Sorrow Town" (Trouser Enthusiasts Mix) and accidently deleted it before I got a chance to hear it!

I actually agree with you Maybe not on the part that if napster would not have existed that there would be no other programs... But still give it some respect!

Napster

Well I haven't any problems with Napster.maybe their are some track which are slow to download.
Look I always download stuff from people with T3, max speed in my case is 192 K/S, no problem for me thoug..........

There are tons of programs
just check download.com or tucows

2 You must reconnect allot of times
3 when you want to download a song, you gotto select it 20
times before you got 1 entrire song. because 19 times
the songs is cancels by the the other user
4 No resume

Anyone got a good program, that is similar like napster?

i never had any problems with napster, if a download goes to slow you just cancel it and download from another user. If your download gets canceled a lot by the other user you just have a slow connection, i always cancel if someone wants to upload from me and he's going to slow. The filters only work for populair songs like britney spears.

App similar to napster

there is a new file shareing program out there that's very similar to napster in the fact that it uses a napster style interface but there the similarity stops
A: it allows multiple downloads of the same file
so for example if u wanted Storm - Time to Burn
it can DL the same track from like 10 ppl at the same time until you got the track
B: It supports resume !
C: not only can u get MP3 from it but also movies, music videos, pics apps, cracks

It's called kazaa and u can get it from www.zdnet.com
do a search for kazaa
when i first checked it out there was 3000 users on it
but now cos of napster dieing a death last night there was over 18,000 users on it and it's getting more and more ppl on it by the day.

How do you know what artists are filtered out?

And speaking of filter, I think "Gouryella" has been filtered.

yeah. gouryella has been. though i can still find their trackz. not on napster is all.

That would explain why I only saw souryella, gouryela, and goureyella when I looked up tenshi.

I needed to find tenshi to finish an album I got from this one guy. (superstrings 2 - magikal melodies of trance).

this is why u are finding a lot of weird and wonderful names now for artists and tracks

ppl are renameing their files to beat the filters

like Madonna for the perfecto mix of what its like for a girl

is maddonnaa lol

so now to find files i try to use different combanations of artist names or song titles
its quite funny to see what ppl have called their stuff
