So my brother is getting married and as the best man I'm in charge of planning the bachelor party. Does anybody have a suggestion for somewhere that wouldn't be too crazy?
PS my brother doesn't like electronic music and doesn't do drugs, so please nobody suggest Pacha or something like that.
get a few rooms in AC and Go to The Pool at Harrahs...
its more of a being scene crowd but he should have a good time
def get a cabana though
paintballing, golf, atlantic city, foxwoods, etc?

Montreal is pretty wild. "Hands-On" tittie bars where touching is encouraged. Never been there myself but I knew a few people who have for bachelor parties and loved it.
Looks like you're upstate too so it's not quite the ride as from the city.
Closest to furthest
1. Atlantic City(Harrah pool party recommended above)My group did this Iphone thing with the hotel which got us easy access to the club, other amenities. Not sure if it still being done this sec.
2. Montreal(Been there for one. Good clubs and strip clubs and lots of poutine mmmm)
3. Florida(sun and Miami beach)
4. Vegas(far and expensive if you have such taste)
5. Thailand(Prostitute capital of the world) might leave happy but bring back a disease)

I guess it really depends on your definition of "crazy" lol
Well he said his only requirements for the night and the day after are "IPAs, Rye whiskey, Gatorade, and aspirin."
To be honest my brother and I have both led very very different lives, and he's a lawyer at a big law firm in Manhattan, so I guess...he likes to drink, yes, but I have no idea as to what else he would be up for. I'm pretty sure he's not all that into gambling or clubbing, so I don't think AC would really be that great of an idea for him.
I'm kind of new to the bachelor party thing, as none of my friends have gotten married yet, so is it supposed to be a surprise what we'd be doing it and where, or can he be involved in the planning as well?
Is he the adventurous type?
How about group skydiving, or white water rafting, or some other outdoorsy things?
Hmmmm.... or a boat party?
Maybe the boat party idea. He's not much of a thrill-seeker though.
Rob is spot-on.
MONTREAL!!!!
100%
It's his last night as an unmarried man, it's your job to make sure he enjoys it as much as he can!
having said that, go seek some thrills!
^^ Don't go to Ontario, apparently there is a stripper shortage there
"So few Canadian girls are willing to strip that Ontario strip-club owners were forced to hire legal consultants in 2008 to find a way for get foreigners to staff their clubs. Until 2004, the Canadian authorities would give foreign women visas allowing them to strip in the country but a crackdown prompted a widespread stripper shortage that continues to this day. "The government's putting a real squeeze on the industry," said Tim Lambrinos, of the Adult Entertainment Association of Canada. "It really is affecting our ability to find dancers."
