what do you do & how do you feel when you get a trance song stuck in your head?
becuz its a trance song and not a pop song, i can't really get annoyed at it. and becuz the lyrics/vocals aren't a very substantial part of the song, singing along doesn't work. i generally have to listen to the song asap b4 i go insane trying to replicate it in my mind...and that always turns out to be a disaster =) pretty much, when i get a trance song stuck, i've got to listen to it first, before moving onto another song...just curious as to how all you other TAs feel...
Yes, this can be annoying. I'd probably prefer it if it was a pop song, even a cheesy one, cause vocal-less trance is difficult to replicate out loud.
Usually when I've got something stuck in my head I can't just keep it there so I'll start makes weird noises which tend to scare other people. Oh well.... One track that's a real challenge to do out-loud is:
Signum - Second Wave (be be do be be dop........repeat a million times in a high-pitched tone)
if i get a trance song in my head its usually pushed out by a new1 like 2wice a day, but with a pop or non trance song, i either hav 2 listen 2 it alot and get bored,or download it, then delete it

I find it really easy to get trance songs stuck in my head. And when I do get a trance song stuck in my head, it stays there for hours. One time I had Way Out West- Intensify in my head during an exam. I was quietly humming it for hours...it was very distracting.
However, I can not replicate trance songs out loud. Whenever I do it turns out so horribly wrong.
trance tunes rarely get stuck in my head, unless i don't listen to music for a couple of days and my body needs it like drugs. although i had this one song, Labworks - Ibiza Sunrise (Airbase Remix), stuck in my head and i had to listen to it for like 2 hours on my computer to get it out.
but usually if there's any track playing in my head, it's when i wake up. most likely it would be Sky Falls Down, but there are many others that i wake up and hear them really playing in my head... they usually stop 10 minutes after i wake up
It's okay when there's some melody to the track you have stuck in your head, but I have had the bassline to Bill Hamel - Close (Evolution Remix) in my head for ages and let me tell you: it's not much fun. You can just be sitting there, then all of a sudden you start hearing:
dum.......dum.... dum..... da-da dum....... dum..... dum....dum..... da-da dum......
Just hearing that same beat (without the rest of the track) over and over again.
Cool track, but not much fun to sing to.....
my brain's really wierd....i'll just be sitting there and out of nowhere i'll hear a song in my head that i havent heard in forever and i cant get it out of my head and i go insane trying to think of the name so i can listen to it and make it go away
I usually get a new trance song stuck in my head as soon as I wake up. I don't mind it, the only thing I mind is not being able to go home and blast that song when i'm at school or something
trance songs i can easily remember, they stay in ma head and i am able to recall them quite easily, but i struggle remembering all the names, whereas pop songs i dont really like but they stick in ma head and i pick it up when other people start reciting them!!

I start to flunk my classes and cant focus. I got some major tunes coming from Juno and I cant stop thinking about them.
I feel spaced out, highly energetic
ta ta ta....ta ta da da da... ta da da da da... ta da da da da da...

I also find it very annoying when I know the title of the song but I dont know the artists name since all of my music is alphabetized by artist.
oh god...yeah...the worst is when you have a trance song stuck in your head...and you can't remember the name of the song or even who it's by (like some TAs mentioned). that totally makes me go insane...what's worse is when you KNOW its a song that you should know the name of.
cant get trance out of my head
trance music is in my head nearly every day...i cant get it out of my head, which is annoying sometimes when i want to concentrate and do some work
normally i try to hold my breath and keep still for 10 seconds and hope the song will go away, but it usually doesnt work :->
i know i'm nuts and i shouldn't be asking this, but please! it's a very popular tune, it's really energetic and if you try to hum it, it sounds like this:
PHP:
what a crackhead!! haha
if you get a tune stuck, dont fight it..
repeat it like a mother and wear it out..eventually by the end of the day itll disappear..
its really annoying when you only have that sorat high pitched 10 sec of the in your head and cant really reproduce it correctly..
but its refreshing when you finally hear the full track when you get home n such
I sing it in my head, over and over, and think of a way how to remix the song, and make my own version of it in my head adding virtual instruments waves from my brain... Hehehe. Really I do... and then I just play it on winamp... Makes me feel like a tranceaddict...
NuFF Said...
