I'm turning 30 and bought myself a magnum of Krug Champagne. Vintage 81. Since my girlfriend won't let me buy any drugs.

lol no. Isn't that bottle in the like 5 grand range. And i'm not really celebrating. More of a mourning. But my girlfriend is out which is unusual at this time and I have a feeling something is up. I hope she is just banging her director and not making some bday surprise bullshit. And she did the laundry which she never does including the dry cleaning which was going to be my first line of defence. I've left 3 messages on my drug dealers phone because that is the only way I am leaving the house prepared and drunk.

Looks like she's got you stitched up - how about delivery? Just tell her someone pushed the wrong bell and then do you're darnedest to hide that beaming smile that wants to flow right across for face caused by the pocket full of magic you now have.

and yeah, I thought you'd gone full out and spunked decent 2nd hand car money on a single bottle of champagne.

The Krug 81 is meant to be lovely - I've only ever had a mid 90's Krug and it was fucking sublime. The magnum is meant to be better as well (which is the case with most bottles of wine these days).

If you need a white wine recommendation I had one of the best I may ever get the chance to drink a couple of weeks ago:

Chateau D'Yquem - even recent vintages are incredible by themselves but anything older than 20 years or more are just simply outstanding.

I also got a 2006 for a steal ($265) at a local wine shop that I swear must have priced it wrong but I don't think it's going to get uncorked for a decade at least if I can help it. It starts out like a yellow/white and changes to a rose/light red over time.

Expect to pay around $600-1000 for a good vintage with some age. NEVER buy it in a restaurant as it's like 4 times the price.

I don't really like Moet, but do have Penchant for Perrier Jouet or Veuve for more recent bottles.

What else did you buy?

I`m a Talisker man myself, Champers doesnt do it for me, even with the powder accompaniment

Some fuck head thought it would be funny to put acid in my fucking wine. Fucking weak. And to make it worse, I've never done any hippie drug and I was loosing my fucking mind wondering what the fuck was going on.

However not that I will ever condone hippie culture but to keep me from bugging out, I hid under a blanket and played music and I swear it sounded like I was at the concert hall. But everything else was bollocks.

You kind of answered your question there with your remark about a concert hall underneath your blanket. Still, incredibly uncool to spike someone's drink with acid. If you don't know you're taking it, you're not getting any of its benefits and getting all of its drawbacks. If you have Valium, it might take the edge off; if the Gorilla's still not done playing.

Maw it's gone but god damn was that scary. This was in a club too in public. I ran home and hid under a fuck in blanket. I took enough mess to knock an elephant out but it woulnt let me just sleep it off.

Happy 30 man and whatever the final outcome is with your (girlfriend) you are old enough to figure it out man, you have great skills and tons of knowledge + on top of that, you have us here lol --> you not gonna find any better place to arguing with us about anything lol lol lol.

Sounds like you had a pretty normal reaction. Just being out at a club on acid has got to be the most horrible thing. So much loud bright shit and scourge of humanity that would make for an unpleasant trip. I've never even been able to stay indoors for very long. Don't let that one crappy experience turn you off to psychedelics though if it was a better situation and you were expecting it you would've had a good time probably. Psychedelics aren't really a recreational thing, especially the lysergic acid. People who dose others should be shot. Mad never says nice things about my sh1t, but he complimented my track, must be due to him being a happy birthday boy.

I often noticed you talked about age and saying people like younger producers, but honestly age means fukall now.
I have this theory that our generation wont age in the way our parents did - mine suddenly started wearing grey slacks and white funny shoes, whereas I just nknow I'll always dress like a surfer and probably go clubbing when I'm 80.
