erick morillo parties?

anyone know when the erick morillo parties at arkadia and LIV go on sale?

great question. i know sunnery james and ryan marciano are opening for him saturday night @ LIV.

we're waiting for tix too bcuz you need to get ASAP or else they'll be $53453453 before you know it.

i am between it and sunday school. i also want to see arkadia..is it a good club?

never been to arkadia, but i'm assuming its nice too. you can still do sunday school. morillo will be done by 5am..sunday school goes til like 10am.

It's a very cool lounge. Good sound system. I enjoy Thursdays (Subliminal) and Sundays (Sundance) there.

i would not be surprised if the Arkadia show does not have presales sold for it as its so small (relatively).... quite easily could be guest list/bottle service only.

tickets for the Liv party are up on WT... $150 as expected

last year, we went to LIV around midnight, they werent letting people in. we stood in line until 2am to get in and only because we had hard tickets.

no hard tickets this year only willcall, so they can do whatever the hell they want i guess. too expensive for a risk.

i will probably go to deadmau5@arkadia and sunday school.

for the crazy busy parties IMO you need to get there no later than 11 to ensure relatively easy entry.

there is his party on that thursday nite at Arkadia for only $60...

If I'm going to be coming from the masquerade motel, good or bad idea to buy tickets for this? Really would like to see morillo but don't wanna spend $165 and not be let in

you have to go change as well, you cant go from the beach straight to LIV as they apply dresscode, thats why we passed on this..shm finishes at 11, by the time you go back and change and get to LIV, it will be 12ish..you might not get in or stand in line til around 2am.

this is my own experience last year, we got in close to 2am and we were 5th in line

its 250 now, thats insane...no 5 hr party is worth that much

there is no guaranteed entry even with a ticket? i find that hard to believe - it's one thing with space with the "Before 2AM" but since this is a straight up ticket I can't see them not letting you in.

no it happens. if you dont fit the crowd of people that they want in there they simply wont let you in. set and liv are the two big ones in miami that do it. arkadia probably does it. mansion used to try to do it back when they were first getting popular. dont think anyone else in miami does it but i might be wrong.

do you get refunded? i don't see anywhere that says "subject to door's discretion" regarding entry, so lets say i dont get in i would fully expect my money back.

otherwise, it's paying $150 to have a chance of getting in - which aside from being pathetic, is just wrong.

the set wantickets pages says it. and no you wont get refunded. the only way to get refunded through wantickets is if you make a claim at the door with the person running the wantickets list. but i think if they are denying you entry they arent exactly going to help you get your money back. this is why its important to use a credit card when purchasing tickets and not a bank debit card. with a credit card you can always dispute the charges.

yeah i did. i know the doors at these clubs are a joke, it is what it is. but at least put on the ticket page that there's a chance the doorman could deny your entry. it's only to cover their own asses. but if for some reason i don't get in, aside from raising hell, i'm getting my money back (put it on my credit card like you said).

LIV does this for sure and Marquee in Vegas does this as well, Space used to do it when it was Miami's premier club

It is not unusual to be denied entry at the door with a ticket in hand

Why bother giving them your money? On principle I'd just find something else, you won't have too much trouble!

oh well, if i don't get in, I will be going to Sunday School a little earlier than I wanted to. Def will dispute charge if I don't get in.

you guys scared me so bad for no reason! hahaha!

left SHM at 11. left hotel at 1230. got to LIV around 1 and there wasn't even a line for will call. and when i got my ticket, i was allowed to use another entrance that bypassed the bouncer letting people in and just got to go straight in the club

Before the trip I was really afraid that I had just wasted my money on a willcall ticket with all the comments about not being able to get in even with a ticket unless you were a baller, had 10 models, or had a $500,000 table.

I have to say, LIV made the entire experience hassle free when it came to willcall. It was the most organized willcall I have ever witnessed. Not sure if this is how the club is run normally but willcall and the separate entrance had no line, the bouncer was not rude, and I was in the club in 5 minutes.

I can see how the club can get crazy restrictive once it started filling up though. At least all of my group got in at a reasonable time and we had a great time there for Erick Morillo Saturday Night.
