Does Better Off Ted qualify as a sitcom?

Police Squad (what the Naked Gun movies were eventually spawned from).

I feel like such a fucking noob not knowing that such a series even existed. "From the files of Police Squad". And after all, I've seen all naked weapons like hundreds of times ever since as a kid. Anyways, thanks for the recommendation.

Did Leslie star in it?

i thought The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret was at times hilarious. I read somewhere they might do a second season tho.

and while we're on the subject, i iknow it's not a sit com, but they should NEVER HAVE CANCELED FIREFLY!!!!

I just remember checking recently and they only made some few bonuses or specials or whatever you wanna call them. And I know that at least Andrea Anders is starring in another series. What did I miss?

oh some of the greatest episode is in season 2! and it's a full seasom - 13 episodes - just like the first one.

I'm sorry I was talking out of my ass the whole time, just checked imdb and realised I've seen all two. It's just that the episodes were so short and everything SO random that It all went too fast for me, so to speak.

PS. Because I totally didn't see it coming.. HUGE Props to Portia De Rossi, she's so fucking perfect in her role.

Alfi, Season 2, Episode 10: Lust in Translation

Original Air Date19 January 2010

Ted dates a German businesswoman whose company wants to buy a translating device from Veridian, but a minor adjustment by Phil threatens to kill the romance and the deal. Meanwhile, Linda invents a new game and defeats Veronica

Is this the one with the ping-pong balls and the vent?

Best one I can think of right now.

I really liked 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip'. Also quite enjoyed 'Back To You' with Kelsey Grammer. Thought both deserved to be go on, especially the former.

Yeah, altough you can really tell she has aged since Arrested Development but class a acting. and that goes for practically everyone on the show, and that's not very common. imo comedy needs better actors than in drama to make it believable. especially the new breed of comedy (sans laugh-track). look at zach galifianakis. you have to be a really good actor to keep a straight face for that long. :P

ummm, of what show exactly? undecleared?

Posted by Zyklon_Jay on Mar-04-2011 22:27:

It lasted more than a season, but i could have punched someone in their taint when they canceled Titus.

edit: also, I haven't been able to find a second season so I'm pretty sure it is canceled. There is (was?) this British cooking show called Whites. It was fucking hilarious.
